Took my dog to the Vetco Clinic for some updated vaccines. Super quick service, in and out in under 10 minutes. Highly recommend!

Not a great first impression. Inventory day. Aisles not passable. The employees were friendly. And I found what I was looking for.

I live about a mile from the store and frequently walk my dog to the store. spent some time shopping and after checking out, the cashier informed me they no longer give customers bags. Ridiculous!!!!!!! I am supposed to walk home juggling multiple purchases. if they are worried about the environment they can use paper. Bad experience!

This Petco store may have an assortment of food, treats, and toys for all different kinds of animals. But I am leaving this poor review because of their treatment towards their animals, especially chinchillas, in their store. These poor animals do not have the correct environment within the store. They are huddled in the back of their enclosure as far from the public as they can get, with very little hiding space, nothing to climb on or get away from the active environment as they are kept in an enclosure in the middle of the isle. According to RSPCA and other sites and articles chinchillas enclosure should be up to these standards... HousingYour chinchillas' home needs:To be large and secure - such as a secure room or large metal mesh cage, with mesh floors as well as alternative flooring such as solid wood. Chinchillas can damage their feet when spending long periods standing on wire mesh. Exercise space - chinchillas are very active and agile and need lots of exercise space. Make sure they have plenty of horizontal and vertical space to run and jump.Branches and solid platforms at different levels to rest and jump on. Make sure there are no uninterrupted heights greater than 60cm to stop them from hurting themselves.Toys - chinchillas like gnawing and chewing, so give them wooden, rope, cardboard and pumice toys to chew. Avoid plastic toys.A dust bath - give your chinchillas a shallow tray filled with clean fine sand or 'chinchilla dust' to bathe in every day - this keeps their fur in good condition. Remove or sieve clean after use to stop it from getting soiled. Nest boxes and hiding places - give your chinchillas constant access to hay-filled nest boxes to rest and sleep in. Provide hiding places so they can get some time to themselves or escape if they're feeling scared. Bedding - chinchillas need enough bedding to keep warm, and it should be safe if they eat it, such as good quality, dust-free hay. Don't give chinchillas nesting materials that separate into thin strands, such as cotton wool or similar 'fluffy' bedding products, as they can get tangled up in them and they aren't suitable for eating.

Have called Five times since six o'clock to make an appointment for a nail trim and have not been able to get a human being on the phone no matter which option I choose. This is as bad as last time I called to make one during the week they said they only do them until 6p during the week. Nice that you are available for working people who don't want to battle traffic or store traffic on the weekend. Just lost a customer and will NEVER recommend to anyone, only give warning not to waste their time.

First off bathrooms are closed. Went to get a fish tank background and the cutter is missing, couldn't get that. Looked for someone to get feeder fish. Finally asked the cashier if anyone was working the floor. He just shrugged his shoulders and said I don't know. Horrible customer service.

I took my 5 month old poodle puppy here for his first grooming and the groomer, Alyssa, was amazing. She is great with dogs, very patient, and she gave my dog a fantastic haircut. I couldn't be more pleased with the grooming services at Petco.

On Christmas Eve, my family witnessed something amazing. A gentleman that had appeared to have trouble speaking kept getting his card declined. An older gentleman and a young lady were helping him. They were extremely patient with him. After over hearing the man say that his daughter put a freeze on his account since he had a stroke, the young lady asked him if he had dog food at home. He said no with tears in his eyes. She told him she would take care of the dog food and gave him a few dog treats from a treat jar. She apologized that he has to go though this all and told him to have a blessed Christmas. God bless your amazing staff and the compassion your cashier had. It's times like this that restore my faith in humanity. It's peope like this that make this world a better place.

I brought my dog in for bath, grooming and $26 Christmas package. To begin, I had to wait 15 minutes before being helped...I should have left at this point. The "groomer" recommended shaving my dog, I should NEVER have agreed to this, as he was left with an ear that keeps bleeding, his genitalia is swollen and he keeps licking himself, I am certain due to irritation. When I picked him up, I had to wait a lengthy time again before being assisted. I took him home only to find his injuries. I cannot express my concern over how poorly my pet was groomed. For the addl charge, he was to have his teeth cleaned, which I do not believe they were, he was to receive a bandana, he did not, he was to receive a special conditioning shampoo, I do not believe that he did.

Went there today to get hay for my rabbits and the cashier was following my mom and I around the rabbit section and was rushing us out the door. Never going back again.

Um, not today Karen!!! After my visit to the groomer today I will NEVER patron this store again. Was quoted $43 online for full bath and groom. Got there she told me $55... asked why they are not honoring their online price given. She replied that $55 is their in store price. Well, I sure as hell didnt book a virtual haircut and coming into the store is what I booked. Seriously $55 for a 4 pound dog?? She gets weekly baths and brushed daily so she is not matted... so WTF?!?!

I have been here a few times and everytime I had to wait or try to flag down employees for help. First time I needed to check out and was standing in the empty checkout line waiting a long time for an employee to ring me up. Second time came in with my family and needed to buy a fish to add to my large tank at home with only one fish. Tried to ask an employee for help and they said they would send someone over but totally ignored my request and kept on doing whatever they were doing.. My mother had to talk to the manager to finally get someone to come over and help us. Workers in the aquarium department are clueless about fish care. Worker told my mom that introducing new fish you can just dump them into the new DIFFERENT TEMPERATURE tank with the dirty tankwater from their store that most likely has bacteria from dead rotting fish! Any person who knows anything about fish should know you can't do that and you have to let the fish in the original bag of water float in the new tank for a bit to get used to the water and not be shocked! While I was waiting on the help I walked around the aquatics area and saw there were 3 DEAD betta fish in the tiny cups of death sitting out on the shelves for customers to see.. Some people may not think that's a big deal but to me personally IT IS. Fish are just as well as dogs or cats and they are LIVING creatures. Most of the cups has disgusting murky water and lethargic fish that are either dying or dead like the ones I saw. If you have time to ignore customers you should have time to take better care of the living creatures you sell! Also lots of reptiles housed together in tiny enclosure where they are nearly on top of one another. Over 8 baby Iguanas stuffed in a tiny enclosure that they have no room for there tails and literally have to sit on top of each other. Just Horrible.
