Akrem and Tyler are very unprofessional, I've been to this store 3 times with in the last two weeks, delt with Tyler every time. Came in to return some equipment today, and he demands my ID. I said what do u need it for im giving equipment back not adding anything or making changes to the account, he says he won't accept the equipment with out it, and that the reciept he's about to give me is gonna have all my personal information on it. So I dig out my ID. Get my reciept, all its got is my name and account number. ...when I said I disliked coming In there store Akrem angrily went back and forth with me, said I could off dropped the equipment at ups. ..how does that help me now I'm here? Good job making a bad day worse. If I could give yall less stars I would. ..trash equipment! Nothing stays connected.

We had a great experience working with Store Specialist Vinnie recently. We were switching to Spectrum from another carrier and my husband's phone unexpectedly would not transfer. The reason why was explained and we realized it was our responsibility for this happening. Vinnie is so very knowledgeable and calm and we really appreciated her.

On Saturday, April 15, 2023, I entered the brick & mortar location at 17818 Royalton Rd. in Strongsville, Ohio for an appointment regarding my new iPhone 14. To give a little background, as the terrible customer service truly started then - I went to the Strongsville Spectrum location the week prior (either April 5, 6, or 7th) to obtain a new iPhone 14 in Violet with 256 GB storage. When entering the store - we (my daughter & I) did not feel welcomed, we felt more like an inconvenience, but we continued on. Vinny did assist us but with no proper customer service. She had a chip on her shoulder, was not pleasant, and basically just ordered the phone for us and sent us on our way. Please note, this is important that she did not explain any warranty with the phone (14-day policy) or any additional features - she just sold us the phone, told us when we were going to expect it, and let us leave.The phone arrived - we activated it, and we were satisfied with the phone until the next day the phone kept getting extremely hot - I ensured the phone was in a cool place, out of the sun and it was still boiling - also, it did not keep a charge, and being a brand new model phone I was taken aback and waited for my daughter and son to see if they could understand why it was happening, which then my daughter decided I should make an appointment and go into the Strongsville Spectrum location, which sold me the phone in the first place.My appointment came and as I entered the store I was not greeted with any type of friendly assistance, I was abruptly met with a heavier-set man (I did not catch his name) with glasses, who asked me my problem and once explained that I purchased the phone with Vinny and that there was a 14-day warrant on the phone and that there was an issue with the phone, he defiantly informed me that there was “absolutely nothing they could do in store since we purchased the phone online.” But I was discouraged because we didn’t purchase it online, we purchased the phone, in-store, with Vinny - and the heavy-set man with glasses was there that day when we purchased the phone - 2 podiums down assisting another customer but gladly glaring and listening to us purchase this device while assisting this customer.Flustered and upset, I left the store - confused as I didn’t understand why this man didn’t want to assist me, and why he kept pushing going through Assurant when the phone was just received on Monday (04/10/23) and was well within the 14-day warrant.This heavy-set man treated me like I was incompetent and provided me with the worst customer service I have ever experienced. He basically told me there was absolutely nothing he could do for me, and turned it around to be my fault - even though I explained and he was present the day the phone was purchased through the store. Towards the end of the debate, and yes I am not a perfect person and may have raised my voice due to confusion, but I am also elderly and am not well versed in this world, as I am a retired nurse, I don’t believe the way he treated me, the smirk he kept on his face, and the lack of professionalism aligns with Spectrum customer service values.

Came to pickup equipment on Sunday at 4pm but the store was closed. The store hours on the Google maps say that they're open til 5pm but that's just false info. They don't even have a direct contact number to call the store which leaves no choice for customers but to drive to the store only to find out that they aren't open.

Tried to purchase a new iPhone 14 Pro for my company. The attendee did not know her job when dealing with business accounts. The manager on duty was not assisting her, to busy to take 5 minutes and show her the errors of her ways. Amazing enough we pass behind this building all the time, we kept seeing this associate outside the back of the building smoking all the time and on her phone. We own a company and many times kept thinking this person wouldn’t be working for us. Wouldn’t you know it, this is the person assisting us in the store. Spectrum needs to send in a training crew and start over with this location which should be doing well. But I think the lack of management guidance there, this is not happening. I still didn’t buy a phone, couldn’t get Spectrum to answer the phone for a sell outside the store. Maybe it’s Spectrum as a whole, need new leadership structure.

I am not one to complain but I waited over an hour to return my equipment to complete cancelling my services. In between waiting one of the representatives directed me to go to UPS to drop off my equipment instead of taking fewer than five minutes to help me in between while waiting for a phone to reset with a customer he was with. Finally after almost an hour of waiting I asked if there was any way while they were waiting for the customers phone to reboot if I could complete the return. The Spectrum employee reluctantly agreed even though the customer was very sweet and helpful to allow 5 minutes.The employee again mentioned going to UPS store and I mentioned I didn’t want to because I wanted to verify my account was closed. Of course, my account was not closed when I had called a week ago to cancel services. Overall I didn’t feel like my time mattered even though I was being patient and understanding with their busy evening. Customer service is taking care of your customers not telling them repeatedly to leave their store to go somewhere else.

Every team member we interacted with while we changed to Spectrum mobile so so helpful; they made the process seamless and incredibly easy. When we did have some difficulty it was quickly and very helpfully fixed. I also observed other staff very patiently troubleshoot and fix other customer's issues. I would definitely recommend visiting this store if you're considering changing to Spectrum Mobile.

My wife and I decided to give the South Park Spectrum store (17818 Royalton Rd, Strongsville, OH 44136) another try. Once again we spoke to a female employee at the store. We told her we wanted to order internet with Wi-Fi. She then offered the cell service for free which was part of the $49.99 bundle. We asked whether we would get a SIM card for our cell phone. She said we would but we would have to bring our phone in to get it activated. I told her we could self activate the phone. She refused and insisted that we bring our phone in, we also asked about the self install for the internet. Employee said Spectrum would have to install with a possible fee over $50. We told her that we could self install and the employee claimed that since we were switching from AT&T that Spectrum would require their own installation for a Coax cable. We told her we already had coax cable from when we had WOW cable. Employee told us that Spectrum would still have to do the install since Spectrum requires Spectrum cable. We refused and once again left. This employee appears to have lied to us. Spectrum has a procedure on their website entitled “Self-Installing Spectrum Internet, WiFi & Home Phone Service”. This Spectrum store used multiple untruths in their sales tactics. This will be the second BBB complaint we will have filed with this location.

Turned in my modem and was left standing at the counter for 5 minutes while Mellie stared at a screen not interacting with me at all. Very unfriendly atmosphere at this location, did not see a smile on anyone's face. Not so much as a "have a nice day", just low class people.
