Good for pantry food. Produce is going bad or about to and the chuck is turning gray and about to expire, nothing new. Frozen dinners are thawing out. The frozen pizza's mush. The milk and bread are usually at their best buy date. Bought some onions I had to throw out the day i got them because they were bad. Bought a head of lettuce that had some green gel on the stem.It used to be good for canned foods, but they're all pretty much the same price as everyone else now. I can't see them lasting an economic recession.prices have increased by at least 30%

Store is good enough but my last experience with a cashier was horrible.Updated:Went here with a client and we were told we couldn't bring our bag in with us. It wasn't what was told to us, it was how it was said. People need to learn how to read people.

It doesn't make sense to shop save a lot anymore. Cheaper prices everywhere else. Shop around people.

With everything going up in prices it's nice to know that you can still fund some savings.

This is what the American consumer has been reduced to: believing that they're saving money by shopping at these discount stores... I intentionally observed the prices on items that I regularly buy at Marc's and this place doesn't even compare. Mac-n-cheese, cake mix, laundry detergent, even eggs,...all are cheaper at Marc's. Pricing the Danish .49 cents less than IGA is no favor to society (IGA is like being robbed too) but this place says it in it's title..."Save-a-Lot"... You ain't savin' squat! You're buying discount brands at name brand prices... Save-a-lot you will NOT! You're better off going to Giant Eagle and just paying for the good stuff...

Its ok when u just gotta grab a couple things. The produce is mostly not worth buying. A lot of the staff are unfriendly and even rude quite often.
