I have banked with Chase since I was old enough to write out a check, but it ALWAYS seems the ATM at this location (Sunbury Ohio) is out of service. I have no time to ever use the inside service as the banks are closed when I get off of my ten hour shift, are the banks just trying to keep you from getting cash now a days???Re: I literally seen a maintenance vehicle working on this ATM so went grocery shopping, came to the machine and it is still not working, so I’m changing my two stars that I originally gave to mow a single star

I have banked with chase since high school and so when I needed help with debt consolidation I thought who better to trust than who I’ve banked with and furnished my first credit cards for years. Made an appointment online to apply for a personal loan days in advance, got a confirmation email and when I went in the day of the appointment there were people standing around doing nothing and the guy my appointment was with told me they don’t do personal loans anymore. I wish someone had looked at my appointment and called me or even emailed me to save me the trip in there because I drove in from Johnstown and got a babysitter. Not only did he not help me but his whole disposition seemed condescending and judgmental, as if he wouldn’t give me a loan even if he could. He then tried to sign me up for ANOTHER credit card to which I replied I’m trying to get OUT of credit card debt, not open more cards. I told him sorry for wasting your time and he said it’s okay cause he had nothing else to do that day. I then proceeded to find another bank willing to work with me and plan on closing my accounts with Chase. They have seriously declined from when I first became a customer almost 20 years ago.

The absolute worst customer service I’ve experienced, Mike has a very “I’m much better then you” attitude, laughs in your face when you ask a question.

Took changes to cash in and told me they don't want to count them and offered us the rolls and told us we have to count them and bring them in rolls.Don't have machine to count? Or too lazy to do your job?

At least 1/2 the time the ATM isn't working correctly and the Lobby door is locked. I usually end up having to go to the 5/3 ATM and pay a surcharge due to your poorly functioning equipment. Unfortunately since it's the only Chase in town. Very disappointed.

Asked status of expiring card. They replaced card without telling me it would make current card inactive. I have been 12 days without access to money. They said use google pay. NOBODY in area uses google pay. Will never return

Horrible service. They said they are busy today and asked me to come tomorrow for a notary because she’s busy. Never knew a notary would take so long.

Waste of your time, If you want to stop at the end of the week and deposit or withdraw any money from their atm. In 4 different occasions in one months time it only worked once.

Trust me, this branch is a waist of time. You have setup appointments for services -even to deposit an investment check

The branch itself is nicely furnished, clean and spacious. Great parking. The service itself was lousy. There was 4 people working in offices. One of the four had customers inside the office Three were seated without customers. One of the three had an appointment set for 3:30pm. (45 minutes after our arrival). One of the three approached and asked if we had been helped. We stated we had not. We were then asked what we were there for today. I wish i would have said i was there to apply for a loan or open a new account. When i advised we were there to make some changes to a couple of existing accounts i was told "um, let me see if someones available to help you with that". A couple of minutes later i was asked to come back at a later time or date, and/or schedule an appointment online for a future appointment. Its horrible that i was first asked what i was there to do that day in order to determine if someone was willing to assist us in that moment. I work nights and days, I have extremely limited time off, and very seldom can i coordinate that time off with my wife. As i previously mentioned, i wish i would have said i was there to open an account or apply for a loan. Do better Chase, do better. I have been a customer since approximately 2006, with a few personal checking accounts, savings, lines of credit & business accounts.

Chase has good technology, mediocre customer services, and I always run into hassle with the Sunbury branch. If I have something I really need to get done, then it's worth driving to Westerville or Polaris because that's likely where I'm going to end up anyway. The manager at this Chase makes up her own policies that aren't corporate policies at all.
