I live in Sunbury and shop at this Kroger at least 5 days a week!!! I bought 2 pounds of Ocean Pearch today and when I brought it home to cook it was rancid!!! This is not the first time this has happened!!! Kroger Sunbury please fix your seafood case as stuff is dry and smells terrible at times!!! My name is Matt Teter and I am not hiding behind a review!!!

I tell you I have went in here between 6 to 8 months now never had any issues and I'm talking about everyday went in there and spent at least $10 or more I had great service clear up until recently when this chick who I guess works there when she's not in college has been really really rude about every time that I've went in there I told other staff members about it well today she crossed the line and was in there running her mouth about me a customer and I overheard her so I will not ever go back into that Starbucks again she ruined that when a man is spending 50 to $60 a week and their store and you have people who are rude I will not ever go in there again

It is 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 and not one cashier available. All self checkout. Also, there were three girls standing around near the self checkout. Can't one of them be a cashier? Kroger, you can do much better for your customers.

I’ve used this store’s pickup service several times, and the majority of experiences have been terrible. They are consistently behind schedule, delaying my pickup time by hours. Sometimes they notify me about the delay, but other times I show up and find out only after waiting around. It’s incredibly frustrating and a waste of time. If they don’t have enough staff to handle pickup orders, they should either stop offering the service or limit the number of orders they accept. This level of disorganization is unacceptable.

The staff is always helpful! Shelves are kept orderly and stocked. The store seems to always have a good energy and friendly atmosphere!

Want to give a shout out to Zach in the Seafood Dept at Kroger Sunbury Ohio. I called in this morning at 7:30 am to inquire about some Codd fish. He said they still had 4 cases avail. I asked him if he could pack up 4 lbs before they open at 8am so I can pick it up and still get to work on time. He said yes sir. I showed up at 7:45 am and he had it already packed up for me. It's sad but, people willing to go above and beyond for customers is hard to find these days.

Love this grocery store. Lots of selection! Big enough without being obnoxiously big. It's in a good location. Store employees are always pretty friendly. Decent prices! GOOD beer & wine selection!!!

This place is such a joke! Can stand at the service counter in the afternoon while everyone looks at you and offers ZERO HELP! You ask if anyone’s working the service desk, and they all just shrug their shoulders as they walk the opposite direction. CANT WAIT UNTIL THEY BUILD AN ALTERNATIVE GROCERY STORE IN THE AREA, because the employees at this one suck
