Went in here today to buy an 18 gallon tote with a lid. There the lady who said she's been working there for 14 years told me that Dollar General does not sell totes of lids unless it says with lid on it after arguing with me about it and me showing her on the website and her continuing to say that the website doesn't know what it's talking about that she's been there for 14 years. She goes back and finds me a storage tote with a lid that only says storage tow on. It does not say with lid and is the same exact price in the same exact spot as the other colored one. She definitely does not know what she's doing after 14 years of working here and this will be my last time walking in that store

She was so rude!!! No customer service skills at all never will return went to the other Dollar General, where I was greeted with smiles, and they even had a little bit of laughter.
Will never return to this store I thought after two years I would give it another try….boy was I wrong. The Store was a big mess!!

I went into the store to grab a few items, but the cashier never acknowledged me or spoke to me at all. However, the customer before me, who was a member of a more recognized race, received a warm and friendly welcome from the cashier. This place has very poor customer service.

Arrived ar 9:50pm lady said stores already closed yet the hours state they close at 10pm..

Workers are great but the self checkout never works and there is never enough people so line takes forever.

Bruh. How is this place so expensive. Lol sometimes 2x more expensive than regular retailers like meijer kroger and even lowes! Spectracide... 10$??? Everywhere else 5-6$ and a whole lot of other items. What a shame..it used to be a fun store

I always love coming in here and seeing what deals I can get for items usually overpriced elsewhere. There are some products I won’t compromise on to get a better price like spatulas, as the last time we got some here the plastic came off super easy. Otherwise, there are a lot of simple household products that this place has that I love coming here for. They could do better at making sure packages aren’t laying around everywhere waiting to be unpacked for days but it’s worth it to see what I can find at a great price. They have a little bit of everything and I’ve gotten a lot of good quality items at a fraction of the price of other stores.

I live across the street. Always loved their selections. 1st one in Northwestern Ohio was in Delta, Ohio and opened when me son was one year old.He will be 50 yrs this May 31st. I still have a 4 piece speckled blue granite cooking set. Skillet, 4 qt and 2 qt saucepan and a lid that fit skillet and 4 qt. Then I went back ( quite offend ) fro linen, percale bed set, and they had a round blue granite roaster. It fit a 6.5 chicken perfectly, and an oval blue granite roaster. They see to carry that good quality cookware now.

Sent my 20 year old daughter there twice within this week. First time was for Christmas lights she walked in and employee said hi she said hi back then went to get lights. She comes up to check out and the employee was talking about her with another customer then refused to check her out and called for someone else to come up there to do it. Then today I sent her for some freezer bags and Tylenol cold medicine. She gets up to check out and they wanted an id ok but still wouldn’t sell it to her because she said she needed to be 21 to buy it. The law is 18. Is this different for dollar general? I have had a few bad experiences myself as well. Customer service sucks here and they are rude 90% of the time. Will not shop here anymore.

Went there the other day being bipolar and having prostate issues I was asking about why there were no public restaurants that we were not public if we were in the store purchasing something long story short it resulted in me getting kicked out and told to never come back by both the clerk and the manager for raising my voice the clerk said I was screaming at her like I would scream at a daughter. What a disgusting bunch of employees what happened to customer service

Was late opening. Clerk was upset I was waiting for the store to open. Gave me the evil eye and muttered something. I said I had time to wait. Left to make a deposit I assume. Came back and said I could not come in, she was not ready. By this time more people were waiting. I suggested to those waiting to go to Secor & Laskey where they are nice and pleasant.

I so wish I could give this store a minus 5 stars, this is the worst DG ive ever TRIED to shop at, hardly ever open!!! I know why their always short handed as they say, maybe if you paid your employees more than minimum wage, you could get more people to work for you!!! If your gonna have a store, KEEP THE DAMN THING OPEN REGULARLY!!!

I was about 6 steps from the door. A guy comes from the inside and starts locking "I'm sorry, we're closed" cool, never heard of a place closing at 9:50pm. I just wanted to buy some drain cleaner, now I have to go all the way to meijer.
