Nice office staff, not sure what it takes to actually talk to Dr. Bachtel. During the last 2 months I have sent him questions on myChart and called numerous times, but still nothing. Disappointing to say the least.

I went to him a couple years ago and he was so kind and caring. I went to an appointment today and it was like an entirely different human. Cold hearted, no care what so ever. Just another dr I’ve been to that couldn’t care any less what happens to me. I suggested a medication I have used in the past he didn’t want to prescribe that and instead of recommending something else he just said “I guess that’s all for today then, sorry can’t help ya”

This used to be a great doctors office until they moved to their new office, the service is still top notch but good luck getting to talk to a real person on the phone. I've waited on hold 15-20 min a day for over 2 weeks, and I've never spoken to a real person yet. I guess this is all part of that Build Back Better I've heard so much about...

Dr. Bachtel is great! The answering service is terrible. I was on hold for over 30 minutes before I talked to a person. Patient first what is that?

Great office and very friendly. But I do not like the change they made to the answering service. I understand that offices get busy so having a centralized call center might sound like a good idea but it gets really frustrating when I need to reach someone AT the office and can't. A call that used to take 30 seconds now takes 5 minutes. Not necessarily Patient First thinking

Mostly friendly staff and doctors. Don't do unnecessary test that jack up bills. Doctors take the time to talk to you about what they think is going on and give you the best course of action in their opinion and any other options.
They also have an answering service that allows you to schedule appointments even when they are closed and lets you talk to a nurse if needed.

Dr. Bachtel has been my family doctor for years and I’m very thankful for that. In 2009 I became paralyzed from my upper chest down. I was 13 and dealing with physical and mental health struggles. Dr. Bachtel ALWAYS did (and still does) whatever he could to help make my life a little easier. He’s one of VERY few doctors I feel comfortable enough to talk to. Anytime I have a problem where he is involved in finding the solution it is always figured out. He takes extra time when needed and obviously cares about the people he works with. I feel a lot more at ease knowing that if (and when) a random health issue occurs I know I can be confident that Dr. Bachtel can and will help me. Just an all around great person and great doctor.

Receptionists are very rude and insensitive. Was a patient here for 16 years and received a letter of termination after my last visit for absolutely no reason. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone since Summa took over !
