If we had an issue, she would make sure it was taken care of. She is a good leader and example, we feel, to other employees. The employees we've had over the years have been courteous and prompt. Every once in awhile you may get someone in training and whatnot, but we've not had that experience often. I would recommend for sure.”

“I had a problem with one of my account. There was money deposited in the account by mistake. I needed to have the money removed to balance the check book. The bank employee listen to the problem, did not try to explain the problem without first checking the paper work showing the problem. This required him printing out several account statements and canceled checks. He realized that he was not going to be able to fix the mistake that was made. He then had to contact someone else on the phone and explain to them the problem I had, which was not an easy task. This was time consuming for both him and me but at the end I was pleased that the issue was solved.”

“PREDATORY banking practices, grossly over inflated charges and no respect for coming into a small poor state and raping lower and middle income classes with their NSF fees ($35.0 a pop) while paying the largest amounts first and then crediting your deposit. So many people try hard to maintain and then they come in with all the NSF fees and can't out of the endless ring of fees. BB&T steals from the poor and give to the rich, something West Virginian's cannot afford! Look at other postings online BB&T is losing creditability across the nation. Contact your secretary of state, the attorney general and your representatives in Washington, we can't afford BB&T.”

“Exceptional senior staff go out of their way to make banking easy. Apparenrly I was one of several people to go to United after a poor experience at Chase (Baemae Pl.). United focuses on building customer relationships. Not only did I receive friendly personal service, but the staff went to great lengths to make banking easy. They emailed me forms. When a teller gave wrong information, the staff drove to my home to pick up the check to complete the transaction without any extra work on my part. I completely recommend United Bank!”
“I've banked with wesbanco for a few years now and I have never had any issues.. but I travel a lot through different states and issues do arise in that situation.. I had an issue with my card getting declined and had a car in the shop I needed to get out that night..I pulled up to this branch and the closed sign was in the window. Granted, they just put it up.. but either way still closed. The teller there was a God send! She still helped me get a new card so I could get my car! Yes, she could have turned me away considering they were after hours, but she didn't. Thank you wesbanco and the wonderful customer service you provide!”
