“My dad passed away March 26, 2023. He lived in Troy, and the majority of his family lives in Maine. They have been so gentle and kind to my sister and I, and his partner out in Ohio. This is the second time I have delt with a major loss, I lost my mother in 2008. My sister, his partner, and I have been doing the most of the preparation, and it's been difficult, with the face that we are several states away and not able to be there physically. “Not sure where to start on this. I guess wow is the only word that comes to mind. When my ma passed away 7 years ago my focus was solely on my pops and being with him as we buried her.
