Good work takes time and they are packed with orders. Had a La-Z-Boy recliner reupholstered. The work is done beautifully and the price was half of what it would cost me to replace it. The customer service was great, loved my conversation with the owner, son of the original owner, and the shop dates back to the 1920's. When you go check out the cool historical pictues. Also appreciated the honest appraisal of length of time to do the work, and the opportunity to purchase fabric in-house at a substantial savings. Did have to call a couple of times to 'check' on the work, but they were always immediately responsive in a positive manner. So happy to have my favorite chair back in its spot, looking better than new, for many more years

My wife and i had a couple chairs that we loved but they were worn and faded. I took them to Al’s to get them redone.
From beginning to pick up, it couldn’t have been a nicer experience with nice people.
When I read the bad reviews, there was a common thread. They all wanted something that was not part of standard upholstery work and because Al’s tried to accommodate them and it didn’t work, they dinged them with a bad review even though Al’s was just trying to help them.
In my case, from beginning to end, I simply followed their process and all went well. My wife and I could not be more satisfied.

Excellent, professional upholstering. They offer a wide variety of fabric selection and quality materials. I can not say enough about the quality of their work. Each piece I’ve had done is beautifully and perfectly finished. I highly recommend them, just be prepared to wait 4-6 weeks, they are very busy.

I had Steve put on a new vinyl cover on the bench seat of my '82 Silverado. I was not satisfied, he put staples on the back side to keep it on first of all. In addition he forgot to put the holes/w the plastic pass thru's in the seat to allow the seatbelt. And suggested that I "cut" my new cover to allow it thru. I will be taking my bench elsewhere as I am afraid to ask him to repair his work, as he may further damage my new cover. Really disappointed, he seemed like a nice enough person just not detail oriented or conscientious about his work.

Super disappointing. My parents have used them for years and I needed help taking a large bench cushion and getting it professionally upholstered. They wouldn't deign to work on my project and "declined". I'm assuming it's because they couldn't up-charge me for the foam and fabric as I already had that. Total disappointment. Don't bother.

I had the best experience with the reupholstering of my 6 dinning room chairs. I dropped them off on a Saturday and had them back 3 days later. I purchased my own fabric so, that probably made it go faster. The service, quality of the workmanship and reasonable pricing were all of excellent standards. That poor shop front was jammed with a lot of finished chairs, PEOPLE, pick up your furniture!!!

Excellent work on re-covering my favorite recliner! The fabric became horribly soiled after 5 years and Beth helped me choose a blue to complement my couch. She was great to work with and Mark who did the pick up and delivery was so accommodating. I highly recommend Al's for any upholstery work.

What a nice job! Al's apholstery has restored my husband's 75-year-old wingback chair and footstool. I'm sure his folks are loving it from heaven as much as we are loving it on earth! Our thanks to everyone involved.

This place was awesome! Beth was super nice and patient in trying to help me pick out coordinating fabrics for 2 chairs from their huge selection. Al's staff also took the time to try and fix a small structural problem with the chair so there wasn't a gap between the chair and the footrest (that the last upholstery business I went to did not bother to do). They put in a new chair cushion too for one of the chairs and fixed the wobbly armrest. They had both chairs done by my deadline that I needed them by as well and made sure to notify me with voicemail and text so I knew they were done. The chairs looked absolutely beautiful. They were also so nice about wrapping them in plastic and helping me load them in my car as well. I can't say enough about how nice every single employee in this store was! I have dealt with many businesses and Al's Upholstery is head and shoulders above the rest and deserves an A+!
