We needed a compounded med. Arings was the least expensive and fastest turn-around.

Pretty much the only compound-pharmacy game in town, so they can afford to have poor hours (closed on weekends; only open one evening a week) and slow turnaround times (I've sometimes had to wait days on end for an order). 4 stars, though, bc the staff are knowledgable, professional, and friendly; they conveniently text you once the order's ready; they took Covid protocols seriously; and the place is very clean and generally well run.

Had many issues getting my prescription! Called them myself the same day the Drs called it in the second time. Left my phone number and info with the person that answered the phone that day. A week later called “again” still no prescription. The lady who answered my second phone call had my info from before ( she actually told me the phone number I left before) still no prescription. She stated she would check into it and call me back Never called. I called my Drs office and they called the pharmacy “again”. Another week later still no prescription. Finally the pharmacy calls me a week later to verify the cost. Stated “they” had been calling me at another number. What?!?! Still the prescription is not filled Finally I get the prescription. $50. I had to mix it myself and when I got home there was absolutely no paperwork with it. Just a sticker of what it is and I got another one of their customers stickers with all her info on it!! What?!?! Hers was $168. I received no warning labels or side effects paperwork. I had seriousreactions to the meds over that weekend not even knowing and thought I had the flu! Never again will I allow any prescriptions to be called in there!!

They don't answer the phone. I was trying to request a refill. Left a message and it was never returned and medication was not refilled. Had to go without. Wouldn't recommend.

Really, really bad customer service in both attitude and ability. Script was called in by vet at 8am. By 4pm they still had not finished it and were so rude. Both the front desk gal and then the man from the pharmacy. This was my first and last time! Then told me I would need to wait while they mixed it and that I needed to know they wouldn’t do it the same day again. I actually left without the medicine and asked West Suburban Vet call it in to Burders Compound in Perrysburg instead which is much better!

They had my husband wait two hours to then tell him they wouldn't fill my prescription because it would take too many pills that they didn't want to give us because we aren't established patients. If they tell you there's a wait ask how long they expect it to be. He could have come home and they could have called and told him they wouldn't have filled it. Instead it was a waste of an hour round trip, plus the two hour wait. Never again.

The best staff. Always helped and very quick. There is no one I've ever met who has the a lot of knowledge Rich and Bill have. All the pharmacy techs are rock stars.

Aring's is by far the best compound pharmacy in the area! I had no experience with compound pharmacies until several years ago, when I began needing specialty medications for my dog. My vet had suggested a place close to their office, which I used a few times. But they always took 3 or 4 days to fill a prescription, and it was a lengthy drive from my home. I recalled seeing Aring's and decided to inquire there. Not only were they nearby (less than a half mile away), but their prices were consistently less than the other place, and I could typically pick up the medications the next day. When my son's cat began needing prescription medications, I found that Aring's offers "pens" as a way of giving it to them. Ever try to get a pill down a cat? With a pen, you just "pump" the premeasured dose and rub it (using the tip of the pen) on the inside of the animal's ear. No waste or trauma for anyone! The staff at Aring's is very cordial and accommodating, and owner Rich Aring is just about the nicest, most knowledgeable person I've ever met when it comes to medications. I HIGHLY recommend them for meeting your pet - and people - medication needs. :)

My mom gets her prescriptions filled here and I pick them up when needed and Rich and the staff are so friendly. I wish I could get all of my scripts there. I love coming in here and being greeted by the staff.
