I highly recommend supporting this greenhouse. The owners and employees are so friendly and helpful. Also the selection is vast! It has a lot of indoor place and outdoor plants. Everything is also so affordable! I like to go here before going anywhere else for what I need!

Just asked a few questions about some plants and growth. First you lied and said you can’t grow tomato plants in July. You can grow tomato plants till mid September. Then she act like I was a charity case. And then she told me I asked too many questions and she’s not getting paid enough for this. Damn I’m nosey. I like to talk. I like to learn.

I've driven down Dorr street for the passed 20+ years and never noticed Bensell until about 2 years ago (2023) when a very good friend of mine took me for the first time. The saying about the best shops being a hidden gem, that's Bensell! Every time we go I always find great plants at great prices, and the owners are very knowledgeable, kind, and very helpful. There are only a few greenhouses in town I'll shop at and Bensell is usually my first go to.
