“I think it’s important to recognize excellent customer service in this day and age of overwhelmingly poor experiences. My father’s contractor backed out on a job he had planned for and subsequently decided to scrap the project all together. The wonderful team at Carters, including the manager Dean, was so helpful and swift in taking action to help my father recoup some costs that otherwise would have really set us back. Carters may have lost on this particular sale, but i assure you they have gained a loyal customer. We will not be shopping around for our future lumber needs as it is very plain to see that this is the place to go as they prioritize their customers needs.”

“I was looking for a specific plywood to make shelving for a home renovation and emailed this shop with a question regarding the appearance of their hickory veneer sheets. I didn't want to drive 2.5 hours just to look at it. I emailed them with an inquiry and they responded swiftly the next time they were open with photos of a couple different sheets and an offer to set aside the specific sheets photographed if I liked them and wanted to make sure they were still there. They didn't end up fitting my project unfortunately, but that level of customer service is fantastic and it was far superior to other shops that couldn't get me any information about what the sheets would look like and I'd have to purchase sight-unseen. Next time I'm looking for specialty plywood this will be my first resource! They were so awesome I wanted to leave a review just to praise that interaction, because such help is becoming harder to find these days.”
