Worst banking experience I have ever encountered. Literally cannot pay my auto loan unless I mail them a check. Trashbag customer service.

This particular branch has become VERY SLOW!!! I actually have drive off from the drive thru a few times without waiting for service. I have a feeling it's due to idle chit chat with the customers inside. It's gotten to the point that if I'm out around the city I stop at other branches so that I don't have to wait a half hour at this one to be tended to. Speed things up people!!!

Great service up front, but scrutinize my checks, and allow someone to withdraw 5k without my signature. (Took about 1 month for them to reimburse) They have a notary that I provided ID but can't sign because it's a legal judgement. Told me to go else where, 5th3rd is no better than any other large bank. Keep your money in a local bank that cares about you.

When your atm card gets taken by the atm machine at fifth third bank..if it's not a fifth third bank card they will not retrieve it for you or offer any type of sympathy for the incredible inconvience or warning sign for what happens if it gets stuck on the actual machine ..and then was hung up on when asking to speak with a supervisor. Very unprofessional!!

I needed to get some items notarized today and instead of going to the city clerk, whose been just wonderful. I chose to look for someone closer to my route today. I called 5/3 first thing in the morning a cheerful voice said they do have a notary and bonus- no charge. An hour later, I went into the empty bank, eventually greeted by a young lady. She immediately wanted my ID, without knowing why I was there or what I wanted. As I spoke and dug it out, I noticed she wasn't listening and instead waited for the ID, then grabbed it out of my hand as I pulled it out of my wallet. Well before I knew it, she'd put it in her computer and starts rattling off my 11 year old information, employment and general history... Feeling invaded a bit. I corrected her as to the purpose of my visit, a second time. Now she's listening! As I pulled out my documents to be notarized she's spouting orders. I ask a question and she runs into the another office to get what I can only imagine is her manager. We talk, civilly and I try to help them realize I have everything they need to notarize my simple documents. Once again I'm starting to feel a bit pushed into a negative direction. I get through the documents and ask about a money order. I just needed a $15 money order for a government office, previously discussed. Because you know, she was not only inspecting every document but wanted my purpose as well. Well, once again she runs out of the office - I tried to tell her it was no big deal as she left. She comes back with the attitude I must be up to no good. Then at the very end tries to get me to open an account. This whole event only served to remind me why I closed my 5/3 account 11 years ago....no was starting to have flashbacks! I was polite, she was young.... But pulling up my information, inspecting my documents like it was a life mission and her invasive attitude, I felt violated. I didn't ask her to do that, I only wanted a notary stamp. This is several hours later, and I'm still bothered!
