I would highly recommend Dave, Kane, and Glass City Movers! They came after a long day, went above and beyond while being extra thoughtful to my home, professional and very friendly! This is my third experience using Glass City and all have been fabulous. John has also stepped in to save the day for a client in an abusive situation. A true company that cares!

Terrible Company, Do Not Use
This was one of the worst moving experiences of my life. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Interstate Moving Relocation Group / Glass City Movers.
We paid for a premium move from Pittsburgh to Chicago, and what we got was a total mess. One mover showed up exhausted before they even started, sat on the floor, and could barely work. They dropped multiple items right in front of us, packed things carelessly, and broke several belongings. Our TV stand was shoved so hard onto the truck that the leg snapped off and it’s now trash. A monitor was cracked, a ceramic piece was destroyed, and our dining table was stained because they didn’t protect it right.
It got worse. One mover told us they couldn’t work with their partner and weren’t on speaking terms. At delivery, they brought some random guy (not an employee) to help unload and paid him in cash at the loading dock. That’s how unprofessional this company is.
And after all this? They’ve ghosted us for over a month and a half. Every time I call, they say the owner, John Pastrikos, “isn’t in” and “will call tomorrow.” He never does. They offered a joke of a payout based on the lowest possible liability, ignoring that this was pure negligence on their part.
This company is lazy, careless, and dishonest. They damage your stuff, refuse to take responsibility, and disappear when there’s a problem. Do not trust them with your move. Ever.

I recently moved to Illinois from North Carolina, and the entire experience was a nightmare. The company wouldn’t provide a confirmed pickup date until the very last moment—and even that kept changing. Whenever I asked for clarification or a firm schedule, they avoided giving any specific answers.
When the movers finally arrived, they were extremely unprofessional. They asked for tips before even starting the job, and after the move, I discovered that several of my items were missing, along with parts of my furniture. Overall, it was a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience.

This is Ryan. Would not recommend them again. The move was supposed to be a 3 day job but they took 17 days to bring my stuff from Ohio to Texas. Even after making me wait 17 days, I found my TV stand legs broken off and I am missing one luggage. The people I called on phone were not helpful at all. They only good thing is that Mario the mover was understanding of my situation.
