I dropped off all the right paperwork for everything I earned. Whoever did my taxes filed the paperwork wrong and now I have a debt of 1900 dollars from the IRS. I paid my taxes right the Lady working here filed my paperwork wrong

We love Denise, she is the best preparer we have ever had. She's very knowledgeable and puts your minds at ease knowing she found every deductible and everything was done properly. If you are contemplating using H&R Block, do it if only for the peace of mind.

I was late for my appointment so they asked me to drop off my forms and said they'd contact me in a couple days. Sux days went by without an email, call, or text, and when I called them to check they said my taxes were finished. When I came in they were not done and I still had to go through everything with Denise and correct things. I wrote on the drop off form that I was filling separately from my husband (just like the previous year) but she was filing us together. She informed me I owed city taxes which I never owed before and was pretty short with me about explaining how I'd go about addressing the problem. Overall it felt like everyone was doing the bare minimum to get the job done.
