Not very happy with the service I was just provided on secor. Walked in and a lady told me I didn’t have an appointment. I then showed her and they fixed everything which was great. Then I went back to a tax person named Sofia Stathoulope. I am upset because this was my first time ever here. So I thought the lady would generally give me info on how much it costed and what it takes to do it with me being young and not really knowing anything about taxes. She didn’t do that so I asked her how much it would be, the lady started off by trying to charge me 500 dollars for taxes! I’m 22 year old single mom I can not afford that. I’m also a first time mom. Somehow the price went down to 390 which I thought was very odd. Then as I was leaving this lady partakes into telling me I needed to put a coat on infant inside of a car seat. Number one this is my child not yours he’s very bundled up in his clothes and I am not comfortable putting a coat on him because they can suffocate with it in a car seat. Number 2 she is my tax lady I wasn’t there for my child but my taxes. I am not sure why she was so rude today but I highly do not recommend going to the one on secor go to any other one but do not go there unless you wanna pay 500 for taxes and have a lady give you child advice who isn’t even a mother herself and if she was she would of known that. Sad because that was my first time there and it’ll definitely be my last because of her.

Like others at Secor ….they got my money and didn’t have time to help me when I needed them the most!
I first started going to H&R Block 20 years ago …in case I got audited. When I finally did get audited for 2019… their fix was to do addendum, which they sent in ! Then another one the following year !
This next year I got another letter from the IRS stating you owe for the underpayment in 2019 plus 4 years of interest. Best part …. IRS letter gave me 14 days to pay or they are seizing my checking account!!!!
So ran to H&R Block and the tax preparer and manager gave me a long list of things ( I ) could do . So much for helping me !
One suggestion was setup an appointment with the IRS in person downtown . So I called … got a pleasant lady who wanted to help but she said H&R made a mistake and no appointment is going to fix this . The IRS lady asked if we could add H&R in to this call . I said let’s try ——
We called got the desk person who transferred us to the tax preparer … where we waited ON HOLD for 38 minutes!
I’m DONE with them !
Yesterday the front desk called and they want to know when I can make it in to do my 2023 taxes.
Shouldn’t it be … can we setup an appointment so we can fix OUR mistake so your checking account doesn’t get seized.

Terrible experienceWas told one price , then told another price when I got there .Typical H+R block ?After over 10 years of doing business and being on a fixed income now , Never again will you get a dime from me. I hope people see this and take their business elsewhere. So buyer beware
