I will never do business here again at Janey’s Service Center on secor rd again. I lost all respect for this place. I go in to buy a Stihl HSA 26 hedge trimmer and I get all the way home and open my new item and find that everything is in the box but my hedge trimmer. I then have to drive all the way back to this location and when I get there I ask to talk to the manager and it seems the manager that day was the owner, which was the same guy who originally sold this product to me. I then asked what they would do for my inconvenience and he hands me this little pocket knife and walks away from me. I felt disrespected. This owner needs to learn how to run a business.

Bought a new bar for my Stihl 440 end of July, and a second chain. I inherited this chainsaw and as being unavailable I asked what chain I needed, saw, new bar and he gives me the chain so I buy it excited with the new toy. Well get out in the woods the other day need to change the chain and it's too long. I had to fight through to finish and take it up there. The guy tells me it's my problem, that he sold me the wrong chain.

I have been a customer of Janney's since the 1980's. It was the best hardware store in the world. It had everything!!! Tim Janney is a great guy and even though you could buy it on sale elsewhere, I bought my lawnmowers, snowblowers etc. from him. I am now much older and do not articulate due to health reasons. I called for assistance and talked to another Mr. Janney who I perceived as rude, impatient, unfriendly the antithesis of TimJanney. I gave up. I have told everyone how bad I was treated, and they said maybe he was having a bad day. What happened to patience and the customer always come first. Very sad to leave such a sour taste in my mouth for a family business that I have always frequented. Maybe Tim Chi needs to observe this guy on the phone. I’m giving two stars because the store is gray but I’d give the other zero. Janet less than one. As I’ve told dozens of people, since yesterday, he was less than nice. He could’ve told me the same thing being pleasant.

I showed up a hr early and the young guy made my window before they even opened. Bought a weedwhacker last summer and recieved a thank you card for supporting there small business! Amazing people

Do not use this 'service center', for anything you want done right. This will be my last experience with Janney's. Damaged my rider wheels, destroyed the new tire, lost the other customer supplied wheel, tire, tube. "Well, he can't find it, we'll return the service fees [for ruining one wheel, tire, and losing the other set]." Two seasons ago I had them do a gasket replacement, and it immediately blew, not 1 hour in use.

I have 2 EXMARK zero turn mowers. I had one serviced in Jackson, Michigan and one at Janney's. For the identical annual turn up I paid $ 158.41 in Jackson, and paid Janney's $478.34.\nJanney's say they do not charge for pick up and delivery. The $ 319.93 difference in in their labor charge and parts. I was ripped off.

Great fast service on a Stihl blower purchase salesman showed me how to double the warranty by buying their oil was willing to start it for me but it was not needed good to go for 4 years I was in and out the door very quickly I will be back for a 16-inch Stihl chainsaw. my 455 rancher is getting a little heaver for some reason?
