This place is racist. I (POC) was told that in order for me to deposit $2000 cash into a business account I had to show ID. I was told the government wants to know who is depositing that kind of cash. My partner a white man went to deposit $2000 cash and did not have to show anything. What is the difference KEY BANK?

Love this key bank!! Everyone there is so friendly! Everyone there actually wants to be there and are so helpful unlike the other key banks I’ve been to in the Toledo/sylvania area. Great staff very friendly and helpful!!

UPDATE:"Just finished talking to Vanessa, executive assistant director. They will not waive their fees. The fact that I did not know that those are deemed foreign transactions, and the fact that I couldn't have known that those were deemed foreign transactions, were not honored . The explanation I was given was that master card had those rules about foreign transaction fees. When I said that there is no negligence on my part for not knowing that they were deemed foreign transactions ( i couldn't have known) and that regardless of whether this fees were determined by master card or not, the fact is, that Key Bank is the recipient of those fees, they are profiting therefore thwy should be refunded. Not good enough. I was dismissed. The money went into their account. they will not reverse that. It will stay in their account, out of my paycheck. I lost my job 2 days ago and filled for unemployment. My valid, legitimate grievance was dismissed by this so called bank. This is criminal company in my opinion. This entity is the modern mafia imo. Criminals posing as a legitimate Bank. I feel robbed. If you are lucky and are reading this review and have not yet become their customer ,do a bit more of research. Read the reviews online. Their reviews are one star and basically are logs of stories of people that feel defrauded or wronged by this "bank". I wish I researched before I put my money there. Stay away. "I made several purchases online, from app. This Bank charged me 60 dollars foreign transaction fees each time I made the purchases, total amounting over 400 dollars. I was absolutely unaware that this were foreign transactions, and I was unaware about the fees that they were going to charge me. So I called online Key Bank manager/ supervisor, her name was Stacey and after I explained to her this situation she was very understanding, she agreed that the aggregate of this fees was the highest she has ever seen and she promised to reverse them,especially because I had no idea that I should have been charged so much in fees, in such disproportionate way to the total purchases amount. She said she would call my Bank branch ( the one which I am reviewing now) and that they would help me. Nothing happened after I waited for someone to help. So I called back. I was told that Stacey talked to this Bank branch manager regarding my issue and that he told her that I should come in to the Bank branch and speak directly to him and that he would assist me. I did absolutely that, as I was instructed. When I showed up and said to this manager that I would like To talk to him about the foreign transaction fees he pretend that he never heard of me,that he never spoke to his colleagues about me,that he never said that he would welcome me to speak with him about this fees ( over 400 dollars never disclosed). When I pressured him by insistingthatI was absolutely told that he was contacted,he admitted ( suddenly remembered) that he received an email about me but that he cannot help me. He declined to talk to me about this, he asserted that he has no authority or power to help me with fees waiver. Absolutely disgusting. Of course, tomorrow I will pull all of my savings, close accounts, and go somewhere else. But, I assure you that,after I do that, I will hold this people accountable. I am contacting yhe highest bosses in this Bank, the Attorney General and BBB.

Very unprofessional. The people there are rude and dow right mean. I will never go to a key bank again especially this one. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!
