YOU WILL LOOK YOUR ABSOLUTE BEST! If you want stylists trained to provide the most up-to-date styles, this is the place for you. If you want stylists who can assess your look and recommend a style best for your features, personality, etc, this is the salon for you. I went to Dawn, the owner, when she was 19 years old, just out of school at David Broadway Salon. After about 10 years, life took me in a different direction and to other stylists in other cities. That was a HUGE mistake! Looking back at old pictures, I don’t know what I was thinking leaving Dawn. I’ve been back to Dawn for a few years now. She remains the most up-to-date and talented stylist in the area. Her prices are in line with the competition, but she really is invaluable! Dawn takes the time to teach you how to style your hair at no extra cost. You won’t leave the salon with a hairstyle you can’t maintain. I highly recommend Dawn and Metro Salon!

I was visiting Toledo from San Francisco and realized I really needed a good haircut and fresh set of highlight before Christmas with family. I read some reviews and called Metro Salon hoping there was an opening- and Jody picked up and found time for me the next day! I don't write a lot of reviews--- but my experience was SO GOOD I can't help myself. Jody is a true expert. She asked a bunch of questions to get to know my hair type and what I like, then dove right in. Gave me an incredible fresh blunt cut (exactly what I wanted!) without cutting off too much length- then gave me gorgeous natural highlights at the exact tone I was looking for. Seriously, I have been getting the same combo for 20 years (trim and partial highlight) and this might be the best one yet. She also took the time to give me a cute style that stayed around through the holidays. I'll be booking time with Jody every time I'm back in Toledo. Thank you for a great experience Metro!

My daughter wanted rose gold on her virgin hair. I wanted the owner to do it. The owner did not have time, so she sent me to another stylist. This stylist did my daughter's hair but my daughter did not like it. See pic below, it looks so faded right after being done. My daughter is 12. She was embarrassed to say anything to the stylist and told me the next day at home she did not like it. You could not even see the rose gold. I agreed.I called the owner and left her a voice mail. Instead of calling me back she sent me a message on fb. See screen shot below.She tried to blame my daughter for not telling the stylist she didn't like it. She refused to refund me just money for the color service after I asked her to redo it , for her only to tell me she couldn't get my daughter in until Aug.As someone that partners with a small business owner myself, I am shocked by the behavior. She should have called me to talk to me about it. She should have made time to get my daughter in to fix it. Instead, she decided to argue with me on fb.Then today, she did call me, finally. I told her if she didn't have anything new to say that we didn't already talk about over fb, I was going to end the call. She proceeded to argue with me, I called her unprofessional, told her I was now going to dispute the charge with my bank and request a FULL refund for my trouble (as I paid money on a sitter for my younger kids too)Don't ever go here. On top of all this, the stylist was late for our appt and no one in the salon even cared to greet us (there is no receptionist) while we Dat there waiting for 15 minutes before I texted the owner who finally told me our stylist must be late.If I were you, I'd never frequent a place that can't even stand behind their work.Service: Haircut
