If I could give this place a negative review I would. I normally go to Belle tire for my car needs but me and my fiancé were out and about and needed a wheel bearing replaced. Called Midas and was told to bring it in at noon last weekend
At noon we pulled up and were told they might not get it done because they are overbooked and too busy but they are not sure. Why they had me come in at 12 doesn’t make sense but I’ll continue. They proceed to take a test drive of my car and tell me my rpm is at zero. I said that’s weird because I pay attention to my gauges and nothing was wrong prior to the test drive and told them my wheel bearing was the issue not the transmission. Then another guy “the reptile king” says I’ll take it for a test and check. Proceeds to come back and say it’s getting up to 5 rpm and not shifting out a first gear. Which is absurd as we were driving on the highway going 80 and had no issue earlier that day. I proceed to inform him of this and he proceeds to raise his voice with me in the waiting room and I quote
“I’m not calling you a liar, but that’s what it’s doing and there is something very wrong with it. We can’t work on it with the transmission that horrible.”
In my mind I was like well you wasn’t going to any way. We leave start 100 yards down the road and it gets up to 3rpm and shifts on its own no problem. Took it to Belle tire to where they test it and say there is absolutely nothing wrong with my transmission. And proceed to fix my wheel bearing. Don’t ever ever go here if you want to be lied to. I can’t imagine all the fake work they have done on other people’s cars. Absolutely shameful

If I could give this place a negative 10 stars I would Customer service was absolutely awful and there assistant manager the reptile king lol is a joke my truck broke down right in front of there shop and I coasted in there parking lot and they literally just left it sit in the same spot for the rest of that day and for the next half a day as well said I needed to get a tow truck to have it towed into the bay that was 15ft away mind you I’m from out of town and this happened in a ice storm so when aaa didn’t show up due to heavy call volume I woke up with his tow truck company telling me I had to pay them 150 or my truck was going to be impounded at my expense so I have aaa show up the next day mind you had to pay for a 2hotel rooms for two nights cause we were traveling two vehicles with five people on our way to Florida “ the tow company comes and jacks up the truck and it was the wheel spacer that snapped the studs off so we were able to put the tire back on and get a couple of lug nuts on it to drive it up on the wrecker and this so called mechanic was wanting me to get it towed into his bay lol took us five minutes to get the thing mobile to be able to move it not to mention he quoted me 400$ without even looking at what the issue was and I had a new hub assembly in the back already so I had it towed to Tuffy on airport rd and Jason over there handled business got me back on the road I’m literally dealing with corporate to get compensation for my hotel room fees and time and suffering cause I literally slipped and fell in front of there shop the next day after the ice storm were they didn’t even salt there walks oh yeah and the reptile king assistant manager was busy telling everybody how much money he makes and his wife is a therapist and he has a reptile business how he’s gonna purchase the shop next door and have both businesses going side by side word to Midas corporate you might want to do some house cleaning cause if you guy’s are really paying that clown as much as he says you are wasting alot of money!!!! Absolutely the most horrible experience of my life out of town and in a jam

After another shop screwed me over I went to Midas on central they helped me out. Tony was so respectful and understanding. They worked with me and my weird schedule and kept me updated the whole time. Will definitely be back

Took my 2012 Honda Civic in for an oil change after a different shop denied it for the oil plug being over torqued. Tony was fast, efficient and knowledgeable. He did a vehicle check and waited until he knew I was awake (I work thirds and left the car there for them to work on while I napped) to discuss the issues with me. Im heading back in tomorrow to get quotes for the three issues found. These guys are good!

The mechanics of Midas 114 on Holland Sylvania are awesome, not only did they fit my vehicle into their schedule they stayed over to get the job done. Then they actually delivered my truck to my apartment. Tony and his crew were friendly and helpful beyond what I expected. I highly recommend you get your vehicle serviced there.

My car was towed to this location after another oil change shop incorrectly got a tube stuck near the engine. They were able to get me in the same day and they even were willing to stay late to allow me to pick up my car. Definitely will be returning for any future needs.

Midas went out of their way to help me got my brakes done at Firestone Midas told me they did them wrong and what I should do they did everything they could do to help I highly recommend Midas I would never have known anything was wrong with my brand new front brakes until they told me

I will not be going to this Midas ever again in my life I have four different tires on my car and they were supposed to rotate them and not one of them got rotated they were supposed to put in new clamps on for my battery and they put them in wrong so it started when I got there but the second I got an expressway and got home it cut off on me because they didn't put the wires in right and then I noticed that they told me that I needed to check my oil and stuff cuz I might have a leak so I go to take my dipstick out to check it and the oil is pitch black they did a oil change supposedly so I took it in to Valvoline to get it checked and ask them if they would show me what the oil looks like and this is only a week after it's got done and that stuff was charcoal black so they never even changed my oil or did anything The only thing that they did was change my battery clips and he didn't even do that right I will never go to this one ever again please don't take your cars here it is a very bad place they scam people it's not good

3 months after spending $2200 here, my brakes started grinding again. I had my car looked at elsewhere and they found the pads were placed incorrectly, and they had broken off pieces to make it fit. They also fixed a toe link without telling me it was a recalled issue that could have been fixed for free at a dealership. It’s places like this that make it difficult for women to trust mechanics.
Edit: I was mistaken about the toe link. The recall was a rear issue and they fixed the front. Given 1 more star. My mistake!

Was able to get me in immediately and do an oil change and replace punctured tire along with vehicle inspection in under 2 hours. Have taken my vehicles there many times over the years.

I just finished a 1.5hr drive and realized I had a leak in my tire. I showed up 10 mins before close and they got me taken care of. I’m very lucky they had a tire in stock to fit my vehicle. They graciously stayed later to put on the new tire. I am very thankful for these guys.
