Get in and out in a timely fashion. Even when understaffed, they still take good care of you. Dr Hohenberger is very professional and friendly. Have been going here for years and never disappointed.

The dr is extremely thorough and very precise. I’ve always gotten a good rx from there. My son in law does laser eye surgery and says dr Hohenberger is very professional and would recommend him. My only suggestion would be if they had more frames that were inexpensive.

Had an excellent experience yesterday, all of the staff was very nice and attentive. The Dr., Eric Hohenberger was a class act in the eye exam, a super nice and professional gentleman. Will go back for future eye exams

I had an appointment scheduled on 6-30-23 showed to the appointment and they told me my appointment was cancelled because i never confirmed. Okay so while i was in the office i made another appointment for 7-13-23 show up to that appointment and they tell me that my appointment was moved because i never confirmed. But on 6-30-23 when i made the appointment Shawn told me my appointment was confirmed and there was nothing else i needed to do. Low and behold now that can't see me and i have already waited for this appointment there was no rectifying. When i asked to speak to a manger i was told that she was the manager and that she had no manager. Poor customer service would not recommend to anyone

I went to the eyedr and he was very nice. Explained everything to me. Highly recommend this eyedr. There staff is great.very friendly and caring.

Where do I begin. On Feb. 1, 2023, I had an eye exam scheduled. They performed the exam, I was asked to sit in the lobby at a table, I picked out some frames and my glasses were ordered. I was told it could take as long as two weeks for the frames to arrive, and would be contacted when they were ready. Let's skip ahead one month. I call My Eye Doctor, asked about my glasses, only to be told the frames were on back order. I was told they should be available in about 2 weeks, so I chose to wait. I never received a call so I contacted them. I was told again the frames were still on back order, but they had no idea when they would come in. I made the decision to go back into their office and choose another pair of frames. I did, and I was told they would be ordered, and it would be about two weeks. I was called, by My Eye Doctor, about two weeks later to be told the frames could not be ordered because they do not accept my insurance. ??? I asked if I could come in and pick up my prescription and take it to another optical center and get it filled there. I was told that would be fine, although I have to say, they did not sound happy.It is now May, 2023. I have an appointment with another optical center, my glasses are ordered, about 10 days later, they're in!! I try them on, and all I can say is woah!! I knew something wasn't quite right, but was told it make take a bit for my eyes to adjust. Five days later, and my eyes haven't adjusted, and once again, I'm back at the eye doctor. They conclude that it wasn't the correct prescription for me and to take them back to the original eye doctor, My Eye Doctor, and have another eye exam to re-review my eyes. I made an appointment, only to have them not record the appointment, so I had to reschedule for another day. I went to the appointment, and upon entering My Eye Doctor, I'm noticing immediate changes, in the employee's demeanor. I was told to sit in the far waiting room and "when a room becomes available, we'll let you know". I was seen, and had the exam, was told I had "changes" to my prescription and it would be corrected. I was then escorted back out to the waiting room, the doctor disappeared, and was then directed to come and sit at a table with a woman to "finish" my eye exam. again ???? She started looking up my file on the computer and was reading my file, I spoke up and told her it was "quite a long story", she got an attitude, asked if all I needed was the prescription, stuck it in my hand and walked away.I have never been made to feel so unwanted or unwelcome in a "doctors office" as I did that day. I did nothing wrong. I was more than patient and polite and to be treated so abrupt and rude was quite unacceptable. I ask everyone, do your research, and if your insurance is accepted somewhere else, then avoid this place like the plague. And by the way, I now have another eye appointment, somewhere else, to re-order my lenses, and have to wait yet again for my glasses. Who knew that "two weeks" actually meant 4 1/2 months.

Such a friendly staff and amazing doctor. Very informative and caring. You can tell they all like their job. Terri helped me order my glasses and is one of the friendliest people in Toledo I ever had the pleasure of dealing with ❤️ this will forever be my go to place!

Went here for a first time (and last) visit today. I was waited on (not greeted) by a rude receptionist who shoved some paperwork at me and rattled off my co-pay information, saying nothing about some “fitting fee”. More on that shortly. I then heard a very irritable male voice say, “Amy? Follow me please!” Again, no greeting and very grouchy. I asked him if he was having a bad day or something. He responded by saying that he had been up since 6:00 this morning and had to be there until 7:00 tonight. Wow. At this point, I thought about leaving, as I thought this guy was the doctor. Turns out he was just a tech. He ran some bs tests and asked me some questions. I saw the doctor next, and was impressed by him. I told the doctor that based on him, I would be back, but if I had to base it on his staff, I would not be back. He graciously apologized. Upon check out, this lady was very polite. However, then came the charge of $116.00!! I told her that the rude receptionist had informed me of my co-pay of $40.00, and never mentioned any other dollar amounts. The lady politely argued with me and said that she had heard the receptionist tell me about the “fitting fee” mentioned above. I told the lady that I certainly would have remembered hearing an amount of $116.00, because if I had, I would have left. No one ever mentioned it on the phone when scheduling either. She responded by telling me that she could not order my trials or contacts without payment. Definitely will not return to this place and won’t recommend!

Everywhere you go, up charges. Now we have to pay $44 for a retina scan.Insurance doesn't pay for it. Then all the other up charges on the glasses that insurance doesn't cover. Just give me what my insurance pays for. Staff were pleasant. When I went to pick up my glasses the lady at the counter got up and got them, handed them to me. I asked that's it? No fitting etc? She said " can you read with them?". Didn't have anything to read. Lady that sits at a desk on the floor handed me a card to read. Said " can you read this? " Didn't matter what lines I could read, just that I could read something somewhere on the card. Said I could, they said " that's it then". Wow, used to at least have someone fit the glasses. Make sure that everything was good. Not anymore. No little bag with the lens cleaner... just here are your glasses....... Quite different than when it was Westgate Vision. Time to find another place to go for eye exams. Won't be hard, there's one on every corner now.

They were very nice, but the Dr. wrote the wrong prescription for my contacts. I didn't realize the mistake until I bought them, tried a pair, and realized the prescription was way off. I was able to return the unopened boxes and the Dr. gave me the correct prescription and ordered samples to replace the opened box, but I only got 60, compared to the 90 I paid for and can't use. All that hassle for the Dr.'s mistake, and I still lost money.

first they lost my insurance information, not once but twice, then my order was lost, called and told me one one of my lens cracked in shipment and then called me right back and said it was a mistake. asked them to cancel my order and then told 30 days to get a refund!!
