This is a small, tasty restaurant. The meatloaf and cherry pie were perfection. It was a bonus to see the restaurant encourage faith in God.Kid-friendliness: They have a children’s menu and also offer lunch portions for many options

I have been going here off and on for years and I have always had good food and service. The pies are the best around!

Food and service were great! But it's a small and busy place, so be prepared to wait for seating, but it's worth the wait!!

the food is great n all but for the staff, specifically the girl on register yesterday, y'all have nasty attitudes about customers coming in when you're already busy. y'all need to get it together, not the customers fault that the shop is small. we had 6 people and they crammed us into one small booth because we couldn't put a chair at the end of the table. but the thing is, WE HAVE DONE THAT BEFORE. y'all are ADULTS and you're throwing a mini fit behind the counter because it's getting crammed? QUIT. i'm a people watcher and y'all had everyone messed up. our family loves this place, but y'all need to fix your mouths for real, we have ears.

I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I went in to ask about table availability due to having mom mother with me who is wheelchair bound. Not only was the waitress rude and unkind. She stated she could not tell me an approximate wait time or contact us via phone so that my mom did not have to wait outside in the rain. My mom has not been out in months and never ate here and was excited to go. Schmuckers....that one employee of yours made a horrible example of your establishment. Some compassion goes a long way. SCRAMBLERS was able to get us in....friendly faces...and assisted with getting my mom situated. DO BETTER!

Great prices very fast service the f food was great. I’m not a fan of the custard pie a little too much nutmeg for my taste but that’s just my family. Otherwise it was fantastic!

I picked up a banana cream pie for my son for his 35th birthday. That pie was so heavy and it made the most delicious, yummiest, banana cream pie we've ever had!

Was doing a little Google research about Ohio's best restaurants and stumbled across Schmucker's. Was going to a Bengals game and decided to make a detour on the way down from Canada. Shmucker's is everything I expected and more. Amazing retro diner atmosphere that is authentic and original. Almost like walking back in time. It was packed when we arrived just after 1pm but we were able to get a seat at the bar which would have been my choice anyway. They have old school stools that really makes you feel the diner experience.I ordered a hot dog and a burger with chips. The g.f. ordered the burger with fries. Everything was amazing, great dinner homestyle smash burger which paired perfectly with the hot dog. Had a few of the g.f.'s fries. They were fresh cut and delicious.Best part about the meal was the pie (which is what they are famous for). I ordered the Buckeye pie which was amazing. Great crust, custard and cream topping plus the Buckeyes finishing it off. Had a bit of the g.f.'s banana cream pie and it was great too. Almost ordered a second slice. Can wait to head back sometime just wish it wasn't 5 hours away from Canada.

Paid $19 for their Blueberry Crumble pie of the day AND left a $2 tip for the “pie bakers” today. For company. Worst thing I ever tasted , dry as a bone, no juice. Just a bunch of blueberries rolling around the plate. Chalk it up to experience. Won’t do it again.Thank you for your response. I hope Misty allowed you to taste it upon return as it also would have fell short of your expectations.
