Southland Shopping Plaza is a once great shopping area that is in need of a reboot and renovation. The complex could use more businesses to fill its many empty storefronts and better maintenance for the ones that are there. The parking lot needs a lot of maintenance, filling potholes and cracks and cleaning it up in general. The grounds need upkeep from trash, and possibly trash cans in the lot could cut back on littering. The Planet Fitness there has updated its facility and resurfaced its parking area out front, which is what needs to happen to the entire complex. The gym has great equipment, appears clean, and has enough equipment to flow through a workout. The fast food places, like Arby's and McDonald's, and the gas station are always very busy. It is a convenient location to a number of different establishments, including a couple dollar stores. However, some shops pop in and out, and others have closed, which is disappointing. Overall, it is a convenient location with a lot of appeal but definitely needs some improvement.
Old strip mall from 60s. Even big lots moved out. Might be a good place to grab some ice at the ice shack there. Otherwise the Firestone service center is original as far as I can remember it was there 60 years ago

Went for a birthday for friend and had their Shrimp Monday Special and staff provided a birthday cake to celebrate it!
