Tom Strain & Sons and Daughter Too LLC is a great local family-owned farmers market and greenhouse, considered Toledo’s best kept secret for all gardeners. They offer a great selection of perennials and annuals, with fantastic impatiens, superb geraniums, and beautiful hanging baskets and pots. The prices are very reasonable, with plants sold by pot size. They provide very fresh vegetables and outstanding produce all summer, including homegrown sweet corn described as the best you will find, along with fruit for preservation. The quality is great and the market is very clean. The people who work there are very nice, friendly, and helpful, making shopping a great experience. They are open from spring with flowers and bedding plants through harvest, followed by Fall mums, and Winter poinsettias, wreaths, and grave blankets. It is worth the visit for fantastic quality at a good price.
Stopped in today for some indoor plants. Beautiful selection and every plant looks very well taken care of. Very informative and super nice ladies. Will be returning for future garden needs.
