They post units for auction saying you have 72 hours and then when you show up to pay they say you only have until the end of that day, changing the terms of the legally binding auction quote: "at thier discretion" which is fraud. It comes off as an attempt to scam bidders out of thier 100 dollar cleaning deposits per unit and bully people who buy the auctions. They also got very rude with me when I asked for clarification on this and I was forced to contact the auction company about it. The auction company forced them to honor the contract.
BUYER BEWARE! DISHONEST SCAMMERS!

Worst experience EVER!! I called early that day to ask how the after hours drop box works and the lady on the phone couldn't tell me anything except "its on the app". They gave me a truck that broke down literally 2 miles down the road, and it was after hours. I had to wait 2.5 hours to have someone come out to fix it. Turned out that it needed towing, which we already knew. It was extremely cold, and they gave the service guy the wrong address, and they never called me. I had to call them 3 different times!! Waited 4 hours total to get the issue resolved and was told that the same site would have a truck ready for me in the morning with no issues. Went back in the morning, and customer service said they don't know anything about that, and they don't have anything on file. Told me that if I want another truck, I have to pay for another reservation!! So I said OK because I needed the truck, and I needed to be moved out by the end of that day, and they said they could only give me a truck for 4 hours. They acted like they couldn't and didn't want to help me, and i don't appreciate the rude and sassy attitudes the two women had in there, and my mother didn't appreciate that either. I never got their names. I told them I'll just take my business to a different location. They said someone would contact me in 3 business days about compensation from the broken down truck. I will never come to this location again as long as I'm living! If I could give a negative star rating, I would. DO BETTER!!!!

The window wipers were useless alot of play in the steering and the truck had a hard time pulling the equipment. The credit card machine wasn't working. The truck and trailer were not connected when we got there. The lights for the truck didn't work with the trailer. Once we finally got everything hooked up and the truck fixed an employee came out and told us the trailer was double rented and a customer who comes in each week needed that trailer by 2 o'clock even though we had it rented till 6 so they wanted us to return the trailer by 2 for their favored customer. After being told I had "an energy" coming off of me they agreed to give us a larger trailer for the same price as a smaller one. Needless to say poor customer service and poor equipment. Definitely would not recommend.

I rented a trailer. The pickup process was painfully long due to lack of staff. Upon return I was charged $50 for new chains because the employee falsely claimed I damaged them. There was damage done. It was a frustrating experience from start to finish. Rent from some where else

Waited in line with a reservation for a half hour. Staff not friendly, never acknowledged customers. Poor communication. Was hassled because gas tank was at bottom of the quarter tank fill line. Had to go back to the gas station and put $3 more worth of gas in so the line was in the middle. No consideration that my battery died, had to wait for roadside assistance and pay my movers more to wait. This was the Detroit Rd/ Glendale Rd location.

Very unprofessional establishment. Can’t even get a proper greeting when walking into the building. They just sit there and wait for you to ask them for help. No acknowledgment whatsoever. I asked for help backing the truck out and the employee rolled her eyes at me and smoked a cigarette inside the truck as she backed it out. I waited 30 minutes for them to “inspect the truck” when I dropped it off and they handed me a piece of paper with no verbal explanation and unauthorized charges for damages to the vehicle that were already there when I got the truck. They were rude and unprofessional and I will never use there service again!

Truck smelled like dirty cigarettes. Owner/manager of location was unpleasant and not customer service oriented. Truck had engine light come on, oil level alerts, and experienced a tire blow out. Roadside assistance showed up and then drove off when I went to greet him.

This locations customer service is OUTSTANDING! The staff is so friendly and understanding. I will always use this location for my U-haul needs.

I’d give it zero stars if possible. When the manager can’t even apologize for the actions of their employees, it’s a sad day. I will never use U-Haul ever again all because of this one location.

Service was extremely top-notch, Representatives were extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Location was very tidy, well stocked and well lit. The staff deserves raises and bonuses across the board!

I was there in the early morning and the lady was helping others. I waited for about 5 mins and she helped me with everything. I was surprise that uhaul has a better IT than other big retailers such as walmart. Text message was received on time and check in process is easy and clear enough for me. Only thing about the 15' truck is the wipers. You have to be extremely carefully driving during rainy nights as wipers were not working as it is supposed to be.

This place has the most unprofessional employees and the manager os even worse. I will NEVER go to the ghetto bottom feeding establishment ever again. They charged me a fuel charge when I brought the truck back with the exact amount of fuel I started with. They told me I had to bring it back with a quarter of a tank more than I started with. Apparently there was a text link that I was supposed to click before I left the premises but I was never informed of this. The employee and manager argued with me that I had been informed. Neither of which waited on me. They also said it was highlighted on my paperwork. I showed them the paperwork where clearly it was not highlighted. Staff AND management was rude as well as unprofessional. One employee sitting behind the counter very impolitely told me, “ can’t help you, I am not on the clock yet”…then why sir are you on the floor behind the service desk as if you are? The whole place is trash.
