I cannot get over how amazing Bev has been! I applied for an auto loan and she went to bat for me with the dealership who kept trying to play me. I am so thankful for her!
The bank itself has amazing rates and I love that everything can be done online as well. That is hard to find with credit unions.

I have been a member of UT/MUO FCU for almost 20 years since I was an undergrad. They have helped me finance cars, gave me loans during Christmas time to help out. The workers are VERY nice! Bev, Teresa etc...
My only issue is that recently I had some credit issues due to no fault of my own and needed a small loan. Denied. Applied for a car loan (for a used, cheap car)... denied. And I'm like y'all don't take into account I've been a member for 20 years? I've moved to 4 states and haven't lived in Ohio since 2012 and I'm STILL a loyal member. Do you know how hard it is to have a bank out of state that closes at 4pm? I rely on shared branching (Don't have to) and get all of my major paychecks deposited into this account and it just doesn't seem to be appreciated. But I'm not leaving...

I wouldn’t bank here at all. Even though I gave her my Rocket number she couldn’t find my enrollment status. And therefore now I can’t be a member. She acted like this was something of my own fault. Good job Toledo. You’ve failed once again.

The hours are inconvenient to working employees of UT. The drive thru should be open until 6p at least twice a week for those who work until 4 or 5p. We all can't make it on a Friday or the bank is closed for holidays in some cases.

The UT credit union put on their annual meeting, it was very well organized and the staff did a great job to make the members feel welcome and appreciated. The management shared new low rate loan programs and a new introductory 0% for 6 months credit card. If you have a UT affiliation you should really look into the benefits of being a member. You get treated like family not just a number.

I applied for a small loan on Monday. I got them the taxes they asked for on Tuesday. Wednesday I heard nothing and called and was old the loan officer left early at 1 PM... they close at 4 PM so I wouldn't know until tomorrow. It's now Thursday, 3 full business days after I initially applied. No one called me I had to call them multiple times only to find out after 4 days of wasted time that my loan was denied. No advice offered no option for a co-signer, nothing. I have a Credit score of 641 just pulled today. I applied for a loan for just $3500. I will be closing my account with this credit union. I had multiple loans with them in the past ALL of which have been fully paid even two car loans! Shame on you and your absolutely terrible customer service. The fact that I had to call you this many time is unacceptable Bev needs some serious training.

In general, the bank tries to help its customers and give good service, but sometimes phone calls and emails are not answered.

I would say probably a good banker for the students to have low interest rates. Also only the students of UT are allowed to open account here. I like their service too. Just trying to do everything online.

I lost all of my banking records after they switched computer systems. It made tax season very difficult. I couldn't get records of my utility bills for 2016.
You're probably still better off banking here, instead of a commercial bank, because you will pay lower fees.

Not only were the staff / loan officer rude, they also have horrid rates. Went in regarding a vehicle loan and they told me I'd have at least 8% interest rate with co-signer. Lady also had the audacity to ask me if I had a job when inquiring about a loan. Went to Focus Credit Union and they gave me a 4.19% loan on the vehicle I wanted without co-signer.

I had an account here due to being a recent graduate and deciding to keep my account open. I had previously intereacted at the UT campus personnel. But this office personnel, they are not friendly. They act like its so hard to speak when i came in. I thought about transferring my money into this credit Union but the last and final time i came it it took minutes for the front desk staff to even address. Sad
