The staff is attentive and very kind. You can tell that they love what they do. I feel very comfortable bringing my cat here. They will push items for you to purchase, but no more than any other vet.Update 2023: This place has become quite the business. One of the vet techs that brought my cat back after drawing his blood told me that she 'doesn't like cats but he's a very pretty cat'. Excuse me, what? You work at a vet that sees various kinds of animals. Not exactly what a cat owner wants to hear. Mostly everyone else I interacted with was overworked but friendly enough. Not sure if they gave my cat a calming medication or something but he seemed very out of it once he came back from getting his blood drawn. Never again will I allow any vet to take my cat to draw blood without me watching. They wanted to stick a needle into my cat's bladder to collect urine. Nope nope nope. Apparently I had already paid for the cystocentesis on my bill - and they attempted to collect the urine by needle before I could say no but who knows what happened with that - I doubt I'll ever see that refund. I was going to collect urine for the UA and bring it in but I just got the ick vibes being there so I didn't end up collecting it. I could tell they were in it to make the money. I think the actual vet knew what they were doing but were so forced to be part of the money making scheme, they couldn't treat my cat as just a patient rather than a dollar sign. It's frustrating because animal people love their animals and care about their well-being. I got 2 calls after the appointment to schedule a cleaning for his teeth. My cat is a senior cat and to be sedated to clean teeth is the last thing on my mind. No alternatives were suggested regarding treatment because the teeth cleaning was going to cost me $1,400. However, payment plans were discussed with me prior to leaving the office. I am not a number and my cat is not a dollar sign. I will definitely not return and have found an alternative privately owned vet and I suggest those looking to establish their pets to look elsewhere.

We have taken all of our pets, cats and dogs to Holly Farms for around 25 years. They are patient with the animals and the staff is very friendly and personable. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Just adopted my cat, Jade, from THS. Took her to Holly Farms for a free check up. They were fantastic! All the personnel were very friendly. They were very sweet and gental with Jade. I went expecting to pay something for this "free" visit but they were always up front with me and let me know that what they were doing was included in the amount THS allowed but if I wanted something else how much it would cost. I really liked that. They were honest and up front. I would highly recommend them. Thank you for such a pleasant experience.

Several years ago we moved out to the country in Michigan, had the worst time getting our pups scheduled for their routine care, and had to pay $$$$ to treat our dog’s glaucoma because the closest place they said that had the tools to check her eye pressure was an extremely busy emergency hospital two hours away. Our girl ended up losing an eye. ? We’re in Toledo on a regular basis so I decided to bring our dogs to Holly Farms. I’m so glad I made the switch. Getting on the schedule is a snap; no more perpetual phone tag and being made to feel like a burden for trying to keep up with their care. The staff at Holly Farms is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. They have the tools to test our dog’s eye pressure, so we can look forward to keeping ahead of things so much more easily. I’m beyond grateful and will never take high quality vet care for granted ever again. Thank you VCA. ♥️

All I needed to do today was get a prescription approved for flea and tick medicine, I always order a years worth at a time each Bravecto pills covers 3 months of treatment. This facility denied all but one pill because we haven’t seen them yet this year. It’s a flippin flea medicine REALLY!!!! I work in Kentucky, Ohio is home base It is not always easy to get home todo doctor visits. I have used l this vet since she was 8 weeks old. I’ll find someone in Kentucky to take her to so I don’t have to play games to get glee meds
