Reasonably fast service, but we got sold some stuff we didn’t need and Verizon is pretty expensive.

I'm still waiting to get my $215 refunded for equipment that I returned in November and was charged for because the Verizon employee at this location mishandled my return. I have been told to return my equipment a second time, which I did weeks ago-- no return of my money. I have been told to wait on a paper check for weeks, no refund. I have been told multiple times that a Verizon employee would call me to fix this, and they did not call me either time. I have lost money and sleep and time over this and it is unacceptable. It has been MONTHS and all I have learned about Verizon is that they are both incompetent and will do anything to avoid refunding their customers when THEY make mistakes and charge them in error. I will not be going through Verizon ever again and I am prepared to pursue legal action if this is not resolved, as Verizon is *still* in breach of my contract.
Update: after all that, they told me I was ineligible for a refund because it had been over 60 days since my service was cancelled...even though because of their mistake the equipment sat inside this store for two months. Truly unbelievable, I hope someone else sues.

The customer service experience is nothing short of horrible. I went into the store and the young lady who was helping me literally had no idea what she was doing and how the cellular service industry works. I was told the number of bars is how far you are from the towers. It called signal strength! I am thinking to myself wow do you have a clue and the answer is no! I mean when I worked at Verizon years ago, we were trained to work on tech and sell phones, and now all we do how to do is sell phones. I am thinking get off your social media and provide a customer service which is your job btw. I am thinking wow they will sell you anything but as far as tech support forget it. I also can say when you call tech support you can't understand them at all. I mean do we have any call centers in the USA anymore? This was a horrible experience and continues to be a horrible experience. I am thinking take pride in your work! Also, yesterday September 30, 2024, I had no cell service all days no phone calls text and internet. I have gone into this store several times. I feel bad for these employees as they can't answer why the network sucks. I have to say that Jason, is the only one that is helpful when it comes to the technical side of things. I have encountered a lot of not helpful employees that just want sell you knew phones and not helpful when it comes to technical issues. I have seen a lot of employees just playing on their phones and just sitting around. I have to say being a former employee and just watching the overall laziness is just disappointing. Also, when you call the *611 you can't understand anyone that Verizon has decided to farm out all of the call center employees to foreign contingent. This is a far cry from the company that I used to work for in the 2010s. I plan on switching to ATT sooner rather than later.
This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced, some of the employees were rude when you try to engage them, they would turn their back to you and play on their phones. I have had multiple issues with my iPhone 14 pro max. I mean I have had someone log into my phone and turn off my cellular data. I hope they decided to hire more competent employees that actually care about the positions that Verizon hires them to perform. Also, if Verizon replaced your phone you give up all rights for an early upgrade!!!!!! This is what I was told.

This was the most frustrating experience I’ve had in awhile I simply needed a SIM card for my phone. I drove over an hour to get said SIM card. I get to the store and they wouldn’t sell me one even though they had my name on the account and I showed them my ID. They said they wanted confirmation Via email and talking to him wouldn’t be enough. I’ve had this phone for 10 years my brothers for even longer it’s crazy that they would let me walk out that store with no service After I drove so far and wasted my only day off of the week. Meanwhile, they’re all on their phones doing absolutely nothing in the building. It’s crazy that you can’t actually call the store. I tried calling, but it directs you to a customer service in India how is that supposed to help me?? I’m not buying a gun. It’s a damn SIM card!!! I’ll be changing carriers asap

Horrible customer service. Elderly lady clearly not Knowledgeable on her own products. Starting arguing with me because I refused to let her scam my family with their poor quality internet. Would not recommend anything from this location they are just extremely rude. And obviously have little knowledge on what they are trying sell people.

Worst decision ive ever made switching to them. They charged me for two months of service on one bill after i switched to a busniess account. Said it would be cheaper but how is a $471 dollar bill cheap, when i was only paying roughly 200 and some change before i switched to a business account then, they started charging me for phones that i got for free on the website, and somehow i still owe on the consumer side which has effected my credit now. Buyer beware these people just want to sap you of your money and will even lie to get it. Talking to them about the problems you experience while being a customer also leads to no where fr stay AWAY from these people if you want a flat rate bill go to metro atleast there you wont be wondering why getting charged different amounts different months i paid 125 for 5 lines at metro and the price never changed

They are only helpful if you have a sale. If you do not they will make up excuses as to why they can't help you. My recommendation is do not go to a corporate location that is Monroe Street! Now I know why the reviews are what they are.

Shout out Ian. Very helpful young man. They didn't have the phone in stock that I was looking at, but found an adequate phone nonetheless. He got me in and out quickly, and was very professional.

Lovely resolve my problems while I was there but it's really hard to sign on to Verizon for some reason one phone signs on and the tablet signs on the other phone gives me a fit keep taking it back and it keeps doing the same thing I don't know if it's the phone or their system but overall that particular store was very good at helping

Absolute worst customer service! What’s the point of making an appointment anymore when they still take walk ins before you. I checked in online through my app and was never greeted when I walked in. Spoke to the rude manager who told me I had to follow the que and I told him I made an appointment and he was like I don’t know what to tell you. I wasn’t helped until an hour after my appointment. The worst part was the person who helped me was the rude manager (don’t know his name because he never introduced himself and the only reason I know he was the manager was because my husband asked for one and he said he was) that hide behind the screen and couldn’t even look at me. Needless to say I reported the store and left. Then I called Verizon and got phones that way because unlike this store that gentleman was willing to help me.
