Pharmacist is rude , unethical and lacks any respect for clients. “Christian” (pharmacist) denied refills to lifesaving medications, suggesting medication was “to early” for refills. When trying to investigate how he would make such an obvious mistake, he suggested I “look around my house for misplaced vials” (as if I randomly or secretly place medications throughout the house) and continue to raise his voice that the medication WILL BE FILLED on the 29th day…. And proceed to hang up. I furthered my investigation and my wife went up to the store to try and get a reasonable explanation as to how he would make such an error for the date of last refill. She went with the receipt clearly showing the refill date (over 30 days) He (Christian) would NOT speak with her, and she had given the technician the box with the fill date on it to show the pharmacist, he aggressively threw the box at her and boldly suggested the medication would be filled on suggested date. Walgreens has always been our favorite pharmacy due to their typically having elite pharmacy staff. Over 30 year customer and have NEVER been treated with such disrespect and had lifesaving medications held hostage .This review is only one step I am making to document this unethical discrimination. I have contacted Walgreens corporate and the Ohio pharmacy board.

Got in line in store around 1:10ish today not knowing the lunch break was 1:30-2 (couldnt find it posted anywhere in the pharmacy for customers to know that) & once it was my turn I guess it was past 1:30 & that irritated the pharmacist Christian so he calls me up & tells me to “make it fast” as if I control how fast he gives me my prescriptions. So he starts looking for them & has a toddler like temper tantrum looking for them because he cant find the second one. Then he starts complaining outloud how all of them need to do whatever better because he cant find anything (terrible time to criticize your employees) but then he cant find my second prescription so he tells me “well I cant find it so you are going to have to come back after 2!!”
I have never seen an adult man act like that at his job especially. Not professional at all. I can understand being busy and overwhelmed but there were at least 5-8 techs who could have been helping me rather than him coming up to the window & throwing a child like fit.
Maybe an employee should cut the line at a certian time so that people dont wait & apparently inconvenience you with their business. I cant help it walgreens decided to buy out all rite aids customers. Im just trying to get my medications that at this point ive been out of for days.
When I returned back at 2 a lovely lady then looked for my stuff calmly & found it. She also witnessed his fit the first time I was in. If I was told they were closing for lunch I would have just left & returned after 2 no problem at all. I work in customer service so I would have completely understood & come back later!!
Christian should have never called me to the window if it was after his lunch time but instead he did & then acted like I was doing something wrong LOL
Thanks to the wonderful lady who helped me when I came back! I hope this helps Christian adjust his attitude towards all his customers (I heard other interactions that were equally as bad while I was waiting) & learn how to talk to people like a professional who has some sense.
Also when you are trying to get a script moved from here to somewhere else they wont answer the phone to the other pharmacists!!!!!
Christian is rude.

This is strictly to do with Pharmacy since Rite Aid close the pharmacy at Walgreens has gone extremely down in quality in appropriately caring for the overwhelming demand I would say for the most part. My dentist placed an order for two meds on Friday(2-14-25) I talked to them on that Friday at 1:00 to ensure that my meds were going to be ready by 6:00 or 7:00pm for my wife went to pick up and when my wife got there they said they had none called in for me.... and apparently at the time through the drive-thru she was not able to pick up her own medicine because only one person through the drive through at a time.... I wholeheartedly agree there's an uptick in business but I would never make a customer go through a line that already had six cars in it to go through that line again to pick up their medicine as well!
I mean I guess the thing is to hire more pharmacists and if it's not hiring more pharmacist maybe it's the pay for the pharmacist for the higher demand. Not to mention a order was called in from my doctor in January and they finally found it yesterday when I talked to a pharmacist at a different location at Walgreens the Alexis and Secor location because medication has gotten messed up from the provider before so I checked and found that out as well.

Absolutely the WORST PHARMACY EVER! Nothing but unprofessional, rude and non stop excuses about why they can’t get it right. And don’t get me started on the old gray haired time to retire “tech” who uses fake tears to get sympathy. Smh save yourself the trouble and go to a different pharmacy!

Absolute WORST! We are one of the many Rite Aid transplants and from day one this pharmacy has been a nightmare. From not being able to efficiently upload our insurance, DOB and locate accurate prescriptions to the insane wait times. After being told every single time that scripts were in fact ready, to only show up and wait 45 minutes in line just to find out that they haven’t even began filling them. Ridiculous! Then today, after texts/calls and driving there several times I FINALLY receive my script only to get home and wait for it… open it and it’s entirely SOMEONE ELSE’S SCRIPT!!! What!
I understand being overwhelmed with new customers and being short staffed etc. yet in my experience all around the staff that they do have including the pharmacists (clearly) are inept.
It’s dirty on top of it all. Definitely will not be back, today was the LAST straw. Unbelievable!

You will die waiting in the waiting room before they give you the correct prescription or even your prescription at all. They all need new jobs.

Every time I come here, the lady out on the floor stocking is very kind and helpful! But each time I've come in here the cashiers are rude and act like they're put out!

“Walgreens: The Ministry of Suffering and Delay”
Walking into Walgreens is like entering a live comedy skit, except you’re the joke. “Your prescription will be ready in 15 minutes,” they say. 15 minutes later “Sorry, it’s not ready yet, please come back tomorrow.” My people, by the time they finally hand it over, you’ll need a prescription for patience and high blood pressure!
The employees? Ah, these ones deserve an award for Best Confused Ensemble in a Retail Store. You’ll ask, “Excuse me, where can I find oral gel?” and they’ll hit you with, “Maybe aisle 5… or aisle 10… or just check somewhere over there.” Is this Walgreens?
The pharmacy line? Ah, that’s the real Waiting Room of Life. It moves slower than a generator trying to start during a power outage. You’ll be there thinking, “Should I just go home and start using herbal remedies?” Walgreens, are you running a pharmacy or an obstacle course? and customer service? Forget it. You’ll ask for help, and they’ll look at you like you’re disturbing their peace.
Walgreens, here’s my advice: Close shop and go into something less stressful. Maybe open a roadside corn-roasting business. At least then, no one will expect much from you. I’m giving 1 star because we can’t go less than that..

The pharmacy here is ridiculous. I switched a few months ago due to an extensive wait time. I had to drop off a prescription for my boyfriend today and it took us 40 minutes to get to the window. Absolutely insane.

I've been going here for over a year and a half! And I was once able to count on them and thought they were the best place I'd been especially coming from another state. Yes I understand they've taken on a ton of new customers from rite aid. But this is just a little more than what the walgreens had to deal with where I'm from. With many less employees. On TOP OF THAT!! It seems according to their techs, some how I NEVER have my prescriptions! But AS SOON AS I TALK A PHARMACIST, ......IF THEY LET ME!!! LOW AND BEHOLD, THEY'RE MAGICALLY THERE! It's truly starting to get on my last nerve! Wait times on the phone are up to 40 minutes or more, if I'm not hung up on! And holy crap that happens so often! I've cried so many times to the techs to just PLEASE GET ME TO THE PHARMACIST! But they send me everywhere but where I ask to go! I cant keep getting my meds late! I have seizures! And I HAVE TO DRIVE! THIS IS TOO DANGEROUS FOR BOTH OF US ON THE ROAD!.. The techs no longer care about ANYONE and I'm starting to believe the pharmacist doesn't either.... especially after reading so many of the recent reviews...

I'm so disappointed!! After Rite Aid closed my scripts were transferred here 😌 I tried to refill a prescription and the automated service didn't recognize my DOB, so I asked to dial to a pharmacist...I was on hold for 40 minutes THE FIRST TIME. I couldn't continue to hold so I decided to call back later. I was on hold the second time OVER AN HOUR and 10 minutes! I'm all out of my meds and I'm very frustrated! Terrible. Terrible. Terrible service. My days at Walgreens are over.
If you're looking for a new pharmacy, don't waste your time here..
UPDATE: So it's the next day; the automated service tells me my prescription is ready and can be picked up after 9am. I go to Walgreens on my lunch break , easily in line for 20 minutes for the girl to tell me it's not ready... She proceeded to tell me "they're working on it. If you'd like to wait, I can get it filled now". She went to the back to talk to a couple more pharmacists came back to the counter and told me they don't have it and stock. I said, why would the automated service tell me my order was ready if you don't even have the meds in stock? She didn't know. End of story. I'm never going back.

It’s clear that since Rite Aid closed this location bit of more than they can chew. Long hold times, staffing issues, and today, the store closing completely in the middle of the day. On September 15th around 2pm I was in line to pick up my testing supplies in the pharmacy drive thru. Two people were ahead of me and received their scripts. When I pulled up to the window, there was a sign that read they were closed and would reopen the following day. Huh? Why wouldn’t you all have the courtesy to at least put a sign outside? The drive thru had like 6 other cars behind me? I pulled to the front of the store and lo and behold the store is completely closed. I’m not even confident they will reopen the next day and I need my supplies. I used to like this store but it’s gone downhill and they don’t seem to care.

it must be a really fabulous company to work for if you can just close up the pharmacy whenever you want. right after their lunch break at 2pm, waited in the drive through for 45 minutes for whoever was on duty to put up a sign that says “pharmacy closed. will return 9/16/24 at 8am” a line of 20+ cars on this sunday afternoon and and suddenly there’s no pharmacist on duty after serving the 6 cars in front of us. corporate pharmacies do not care if you live or die without your medication. find a small family owned pharmacy if you ever want to speak with a human.
if you call, and ask the automated robot to connect you to a human at the pharmacy, they connect you to someone sitting at home on their computer, dogs barking kids crying in the background; probably not even in your state, to handle your sensitive medication information.

I am a recent transfer to Walgreens from Rite Aid. The Walgreens my prescriptions are sent to is in Toledo Ohio on Monroe St. I am disabled and my refills are called in and delivered to me free. The problem is I have to call in and the time I am on hold is very long. I have been on hold for almost an hour waiting to set up delivery as I am preparing this review. There should be something online where free prescription refill delivery can occur. Please rectify the on hold time for prescription refill and delivery. Thank you
