Wildwood Preserve Metropark is a very pretty and gorgeous park, the most visited of the Metroparks. It is a 493-acre former estate featuring a stately Manor House that is a must-see. The main attraction is its awesome system of trails that traverse varied terrain and woods, offering lots of shade. The park is great for walks, runners, bikers, and dogs, and includes outdoor calisthenics equipment. It is always clean, very well-kept, and well-maintained, considered one of the best-kept parks. The prairie community is home to diverse plants and animals, and the nature viewing window is very active. It has flushing toilets in the restrooms.
Love the trails the floodplain boardwalk trail is the best along the water with lots of spots to put ur toes in the stream, lots of wildlife chipmunks where so playful and not scared was funny cute. Manor house is amazing inside the grounds are beautiful.
