I took my car here for a minor fender bender and the service was quick and professional. Unfortunately I was rear ended and I have to take my car back next month for another repair! I expressed my concerns to the adjuster I felt like he acknowledged them. We will see. I will be back to update my review.

They had my car for four months, which was utterly ridiculous, waiting for parts. Their communication was poor, but they did a phenomenal job.

I have gotten my vehicle repaired at the body shop at Yark collision center. Yark collision center does excellent work on a vehicle, they do a phenomenal job however they are not honorable on when they say that they are going to get your car in to repair it. My vehicle has been at their body shop since early August and they have not begun to start repairs on it yet. I have been told 2 different times by the adjuster that they were going to start working on my vehicle and they have not started on it yet.Services: Painting

I had a terrible experience with Yark Collision Center. My car has been there for over 3 months, and every week they promised it would be ready by the following Friday. It's been a frustrating and unprofessional ordeal, here I am, still waiting. and I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone.

I understand companies have trouble finding good workers, however I cannot stress enough how unskilled and incompetent the staff is at the Yark Collision Center. They attempted to fix factory defects in the paint of my brand new Tahoe. They took over 4x longer than estimated, caused new damage (I feel intentionally out of frustration due to a lack of ability to fix the issues), had to repaint it at least twice, put on 100 miles unnecessarily (without any reimbursement), and caused permanent damage to my cars clear coat. It looks like my car went through 1,000 automated car washes with swirls and scratches everywhere. They burned marks into the hood and even in areas they did not paint. The GM of the Perrysburg Chevy said “that car will never look better than it does now”. ??♂️ I would rate it a 0/5 if it would let me. I have been doing paint correction and machine polishing on my own vehicles for 10+ years and honestly it’s tough to cause this amount of damage. The picture I included is how it looks all over the front corner panel, rear panel, and my hood - their finished product. And this is over brand new paint?! I should have paid out of pocket and taken to a real body shop. Lesson learned.Service: Painting

UPDATE: received a call today that they started body work YESTERDAY, when paintless dent repair was one 8/8 or per the director of yark collision “may have even been done sooner”. So my car sat there for a little over 3 weeks… not to mention rental car coverage ran out 8/25. First completion date was 8/30, then got pushed back to 9/8, and today was pushed back to 9/19… and again no help from the company on rental car coverages. At this point almost feel as though I need to get a lawyer involved because as of now I’ll be paying around 1k in rental car coverages, if not more since they keep pushing my date back. But they don’t care because it’s not their money.Car has been there since 7/14. Completion date keeps getting pushed back and when everything is said and done I will be paying over 700$ for rental car coverage with no assistance from the company. Luckily, money isn’t an issue for me and must be for yark if they can’t assist with that. Talked to the manager and he basically talked over me the whole time stating that I should be grateful because they pulled people from other states to come in and help. He also said that they’re swamped and blaming the tornado. Okay I get it but if you can’t handle your workload why not just have my appointment to drop my car off at a later date? Why am I being penalized for something that isn’t my fault? But honestly I have a feeling this is how they operated even before the tornado. So many people I know have been in the same situation that I’m in (taking over 2 months to finish their car and the customer paying out of pocket for their rental car). If anyone else is ever in a bad situation, save your time, don’t call the manager he’s a complete narcissist. We were arguing over the phone, and I was so frustrated so I called him a name a hung up. Then he had the nerve to try and call me back… like no I’m done with this conversation, he was saying I was in the wrong basically, and I think yark is in the wrong… so trying to call back and argue some more is a waste of time because the conversation goes nowhere. Very stressful. I have been calling every day, twice a day , leaving messages for 6 days about the status of my 2022 ram, as my rental expires tomorrow. No one calls me back. Horrible. Every date they schedule gets pushed back and now I’ll be without a vehicle, due to “ technician” problems. Let’s see if they step up and help me with a vehicle

Have had my car since 7/14... completion date was set for 8/30, then 9/8, now 9/19. Expecting a call here soon probably pushing back the date again. Unreliable.

As a whole, my experience with the Yark Collison Center was stressful and very timely. After making an appointment and bringing in my 2022 Jeep, the lines of communication were lost. I eventually started receiving text updates once my car had been in the shop several weeks. One of the most frustrating parts of this process was the multiple times I was told that a mechanic called off or was sick and no one else would be able to work on my vehicle. This pushed back my waiting time week after week with no real explanation. After over a month of waiting, I got my car back. The pickup process went quickly but I did notice some marks on the interior of my drivers side door which they replaced during the repair. I will NOT be returning my business to Yark Collision Center and will never recommend this establishment to anyone I know.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Although they did not repair my car from my accident, they where the only collision shop that would take my car in quickly and I had an estimate for the insurance in less then a week. I am from out of state so I did not have alot of time to wait. My car unfortunately was totaled, but Yark was very quick and professional to respond to my needs. I would definitely recommend them for service!

I had a very poor experience at this Yark location and do not recommend taking your vehicle here.Our vehicle was dropped off May 23rd, estimate was completed May 26th, repair started June 1 and we did not receive the car back until June 16. The problem was not that the car was undergoing repair for three weeks, the problem was we were not informed of the timeframe this repair would take, and we were told over three different estimate completion dates that kept getting pushed back due to them continuously finding new parts that were needed. We would have secured a backup vehicle to have after the insurance covered rental expired had we known this amount of time was needed. In addition, the Parts team was difficult to work with as the manager was unprofessional to the point of hostility on the phone and their inaccurate initial diagnostic led to them missing crucial repair components that they had to continuously tack on throughout the repair which extended the duration of the car being in shop.We are fully aware that when fixing cars the issue is not always evident at face value, however a thorough and accurate initial diagnostic should have given the team insight into repair duration and the probable parts needed for completion. Yark did not offer any loaner vehicle nor compensation or even empathy for the complicated repair process and inconvenience. We do not recommend taking your vehicle here for repair unless you want an additional headache on top of your lost vehicle.Services: Tires

My car was at shop for 6 months due to side impact got a total of 3 calls during time car was in shop after emailing shop management regarding lack of communication from contact person. After 6 months they said my car was ready and found interior parts installed were wrong parts that left 1/2 gap between top of support and roof of vehicle, water spots throughout vehicle interior after being told it was detailed 3 times, glass screen cover for radio/ac, adjustments had a two inch scratch on it which they blamed on accident. Very non professional service and wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone.

Good luck getting this place to answer the phone or update you on the status of your vehicle. Once you leave your car there it's like they intentionally ignore your calls. They do have caller ID as stated by a person at their office and I tested this theory that they were ignoring my calls by having someone else call from their phone on my behalf after I had tried calling 5 times. They picked up on the 3rd ring for them. A 3 day fix for a dent in my door turned into 8 days with no updates along the way unless I gave them a call and on the off chance they picked up or if I drove up to the collision center myself. Anytime I did get a hold of someone they would always promise it would be ready the next day and it never would be for a different reason each time. Going up there was no better as they always had an excuse why it wasn't done or seemed disappointed that I came in to ask about my car's status. It was truly astonishing to see how poorly run a dealer associated mechanic/body shop could be. I will never recommend this place to anyone and they have some serious work to do on fixing how they run their business. Truly an embarrassment to Yark as a whole and I hope that enough reviews similar to mine come up so that upper management can get involved.Services: Painting

Good professional service. Truck was repaired correctly the first time. Communication and timelines were not clear and Yark was very bad at getting back to people. The truck had garbage in the bed from the repair men. Besides that the actual repair work was completed professionally.Service: Body & Trim
