I scheduled a move in date and paid for the unit. I went to move in and a lock was on my unit. I had to wait until after the weekend to move my car in and I drove from out of town to do it. Was told there was no lock on the unit I can’t read obviously and looked at the wrong unit.

First of all, I've had items in this facility since 2020. I've been here through a few owners and CubeSmart is by far the best. The rates are lower than I've paid the last owners. The reason for my review however is Susan, the best and most understanding associate I have ever met. I've been thru injuries, hard times and most recently heart surgery for AFIB. Each and EVERY SINGLE TIME I've needed time to pay my bill she has been an understanding angel there to help. I don't know what id do without her. Susan is the best. Thank you 🌹.

Don't walk but run to a different storage unit!! My belongings were infested/caked with bugs (beetles, spiders, stink bugs, spider eggs). The moisture and water damage issues in the unit caused the wood furniture to swell and paint to chip. But the bugs were unreal. Office staff were barely available as the office always seemed closed. We were told it was a climate controlled unit until we signed the contract and paid. The unit was in the far back corner of the lot near a barbed fence and wooded area/field---absolutely no lighting. I had to pull my car into the corner and shine my headlights into the unit and down the alley. Definitely find something safer and that will maintain their storage units better so you can feel safe about your items.

The online chat led me to believe late fees would not be applied until after the 7th day. (I asked prior to getting a unit) Then I Get charged a late fee of $20 on the 6th day, the day I was going to pay it.
I contacted the online chat as before to voice my concerns about being given incorrect information. The person I spoke with was extremely rude and was basically a condescending jerk towards me. Just by how they responded to me it is VERY clear that they do not value customers and are basically a "come..or don't .... Stay ..or .. go... We don't care..." Type of business. I highly recommend you do NOT do business with CubeSmart (and any affiliated businesses, which I will post the names of soon if they in fact are tied to any other businesses).
Very disappointed. I just hope the online chat is not a representation of Cube Smart as a whole and that of the local management. That I cannot say either way at this point but will update the review soon.
