I was stranded in the Meijer parking lot when my car failed to start. I walked over to AAA after the car failed to start even when attempting to use jumper cables. Initially, I was informed that there would be no way of towing the car from its current location, so four of their employees walked over to the Meijer parking lot and pushed my car over. Turns out the issue had to do with the alarm system and because needs to be resolved by the dealer, they did not charge me for the diagnostic, but they did get the car to start. Wonderful service. There is no question that this will be the only place I take my car for any repairs in the future. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Thanks, guys.

Thank you to Tyler for your help. Professional, polite, and very helpful. He was willing to help work with another out-of-state's mechanic's warranty to get our repairs done.

My car was having trouble with its tire pressure and we took it in to AAA in hopes that they would help get the pressure up. Daryl thoroughly explained everything they did including reprogramming the tire sensors, replacing a tire sensor, and checking for leaks, without a cost.

This is a complaint about one of your driving school instructors that seemingly needed to drive extremely fast through the Shenandoa neighborhood this morning, 3 July 2024 around 9-9:30a.m. Obviously this instructor was in such a hurry to get to her student appointment at 2038
Emerson Way she felt it was ok to go well above the posted speed of 25mph on Greenbriar Drive, in one of your marked AAA Driving school vehicles, through a neighborhood with a lot of young children. Not a good way to advertise your services, or ensure the safety of others when they are behind the wheel. Please have your instructors practice the driving skills you should be teaching.

Found this service centre through CAA connected to AAA when my car had a serious break down on hwy. Great customer service! All were very professional and accommodating, from"Jim" the tow truck driver to "Daryl" the manager and the "mechanic" as well as "Tyler" the service rep. These wonderful people went the extra mile and Daryl even came into work during his day off to help us out tremendously. I never give 5 stars to anyone because 5 stars means perfection and then there would be no room for improvement so 4 stars to me means a lot. Thank you guys!

I took my car to the AAA location in Troy for an oil change and an alignment. I can’t complain on the speed of the service as I was in and out within an hour or so. I do find the price of their oil changes to be outrageous, even when I had a 20$ coupon compared to many of the other auto shops around the area. I did find one thing to be an issue, which is a big issue to myself, making me wonder what other things they say they did but didn’t. Apparently they do a courtesy inspection on your vehicle checking several things. Out of the 40 or so things they said they checked, only 2 things were bad. One being a dirty air filter and the other being a check engine light. Supposedly one of the things they checked thru out this inspection was the CV axles, which they said were ok. I’ve known for over a year now that the front left is was bad, even stated and shown to me in a video from Lexus. I’ve also changed my brakes recently and saw the boot myself torn on the front left cv axle. When my car was ready, I spoke with Tyler who was the salesperson thru out the process and asked how close they look at these items they check in the inspection. He asked what do I mean, so I went ahead and stated they said the cv axles were okay but yet Lexus said and showed proof in a video that the left front cv axle was bad. He made a nice smart comment of well whose to say Lexus is right. Smart comment buddy. I then stated to him I just changed my brakes recently and saw the boot torn myself. Of course this leaves him speechless. I get that it’s a “courtesy inspection”, but now it also makes me ponder what else they state they do, but yet don’t actually do it. The fact that Tyler made the comment of well whose to say they’re right also wasn’t a comment you make to a customer. I’d never recommend this location, nor will I ever go back. My advice, STAY AWAY.

Darrel has written up service on three of my vehicles and I have been quite happy with all of the repairs. While my wife drives a newer car but our other two vehicles we have are very high mileage Hondas. They are in good shape but at an age where major components will go from time to time. The highlight was when we had some major work done on my daughter's car. Not one month later we set off to Virginia Beach from Troy. We drove there without incident and full confidence in the repairs that were made. Credit Honda or AAA, but we drove a 2009 Honda with 300,000 miles to Virginia and back with no problem.Most recently, and the repair that prompted this review. I thought my struts were shot on the back of my newly acquired high mileage Honda. After they investigated, they found the struts to be fine but some other issues that needed addressed. I know more than one shop would have done the struts and sent it out the door. AAA didn't. They investigated all concerns, found the root cause, and did the repairs.I love my old Hondas and it's good to have a service center that helps me keep them on the road and in good shape. Thanks, guys.
