Have been great for me for years but this year I handed them all my paperwork for 2023 and have not heard back. My returns are due in two weeks (filed extension). Are they doing ok? Still in business? Seems very unusual. Normally 5 stars but this year is changing that.

I am going to post a neutral comment and just post my experience. I needed help with my taxes and was given a quote from Patterson and company CPA's that I agreed to. My situation was explained and it was understood that I was married and the taxes would be for my husband and I. I dropped off my information and waited for a phone call. After my taxes were completed the company called me and said since it saved me some tax money to file "married filing separately" they would be charging me close to double to what the original quote was. It was getting close to when taxes were due ( before I new the government was going to extend the time) so I felt a bit backed into a corner. This is my story and you can decide.
