“We had a great experience at Cedar Springs! The venue is gorgeous. We had our wedding day in the middle of the summer on one of the hottest days of the year. It was really hot being all outdoors, but definitely cooled off into the evening which helped. We made it through the heat and were so glad we did cause the venue looked incredible for our big day. There is so much naturally greenery, the pond and fountain were an awesome backdrop, and Lisa and the staff really do a good job keeping up with the landscaping.
They provided all we needed for tables and chairs, as well as were a pretty big help day of getting things in order for us. We made the mistake to not get a wedding planner (it was clear to see that we didn't have one if you saw us setting up and tearing down). But the Cedar Spring staff (specifically the owner Lisa) helped us out where they could and that was very nice of them.
Only downfalls would be the day-of-coordinator we had (which comes with the venue), some restrictions were a disappointment, and communication leading up to our day was spotty at times. Our day-of-coordinator that came with the venue wasn't much help - we only met her at rehearsal as she was not at our 2-weeks 'til meeting. To be fair we didn't really know what kind of help we were going to get from that position so we tried to plan for our day without relying on that, but we were still a bit disorganized in areas lol (get a wedding planner!). We hoped we were able to get more from that inclusion in the venue but it was essentially a wash for day of. The restrictions that were annoying were stuff like no shots and certain drinking game songs like Thunderstruck. Our guests were the crowd that liked to party and some of those things woulda been fun - but we still had plenty of fun so this wasn't the end of the world. The communication ultimately was fine leading up to the big day, but we had some back and forth between text and email and some details got lost or confusion took place on what was being asked / talked about. If you go with Cedar Springs and need to get questions answered as you plan, just plan to keep communication to email to keep all in order.”
“The Tipp Center has become one of my favorite places to meet with clients, connect one on one with colleagues, attend networking mixers, and host sales meetings. The facility itself is exceptional, welcoming, and incredibly versatile.
What really stands out is how much it brings the community together. From business events to art, craft, and cultural experiences like the recent Art Fair, there is something engaging happening here.
A truly valuable space for both professionals and the community alike - highly recommend!”
“I was born and raised in Piqua and have never left my hometown. The Round Barn is one of Piqua's best-kept secrets.
I've known the proprietors, Tim and Janelle Baker, for nearly 10 years. Our kids attended school together, and I've had the privilege of watching them pour their hearts into creating such a beautiful venue while raising their four boys. They are genuinely kind, hardworking people who care deeply about every guest's experience.
It only felt fitting to host my daughter Audrey's graduation party at The Round Barn, and it exceeded every expectation. The venue is absolutely beautiful, impeccably maintained, and full of rustic charm. From the moment our guests arrived, they couldn't stop commenting on how unique and inviting it was.
Tim and Janelle made the entire planning process easy and stress-free. Their attention to detail, hospitality, and willingness to help made our celebration truly memorable. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, allowing our family to simply enjoy the day and celebrate Audrey's accomplishments.
If you're looking for a venue for a wedding, graduation party, family celebration, corporate event, or any special occasion, I can't recommend The Round Barn enough. It's a hidden gem right here in Piqua, and once you experience it, you'll understand why so many people fall in love with this incredible place.
Thank you, Tim and Janelle, for helping make Audrey's graduation celebration one that our family will cherish for years to come!”
“Romer's catered our wedding at Vandemark Farm in Sidney. We received many compliments on the quality of the food, especially the roast beef and fried chicken. The staff executed the meal flawlessly. They also accommodated vegan meals for some of our guests. They were the most affordable option we found, and considering the quality and service, they are a slam dunk. We highly recommend working with Romer's.”
“Cinemark in Piqua is a great place to see current movies. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restrooms are clean. It was nice to see that the drippy faucet in the ladies room was finally repaired. I reported it twice several years ago. Plenty of parking. The air conditioning was not extremely cold so I didn't need a jacket like some places. Senior citizen pricing on Mondays is $6 (very reasonable) for every show all day and evening.”
“The staff was very nice the facility was very clean the drinks were very good and reasonable priced you couldn't ask for a nicer facility for a wedding reception”
“My dear friend was married here outside during Covid-19. They had a place for preparing food or delivering prepared food, lots of tables and chairs, a bandstand, and a dance floor. What a clever place to get married in.”
