We went for Easter brunch. It was really nice, great menu selection and buffet options. Service was superb. Highly recommended! Will go back in warmer months to enjoy the patio.

Loved the date night menu. Enjoyed the food but was disappointed with the service. Our server would disappear for long periods of time and rarely checked on us. Ordered a double espresso and was given a cold half cup of coffee. Desserts were not great.

The acoustics were very loud. The waitress was peculiar. My date and I felt like every time the server would check on us, she gave the impression of trying to shove us out the door as soon as possible. One thing I can't stand is being rushed during my meal, especially at an expensive restaurant like this. That is a deal breaker. I'm never returning ! ??

Merle was a great server and explained everything well. The food was delicious too! The creme brulee got rave reviews at our table. I had the carrot cake which was delicious!

The dinner and ambience were very nice. We enjoyed everything till the end of the meal waiting for dessert which didn't come till we asked for our check after waiting over 20 minutes. While our server said our desserts were running late, there was no offer of coffee or other service. Again, pleased for the most part.

I would return but certainly would not rush back. Our server was pleasant enough but hardly went out of his way to be engaged with us at all. He simple wrote things down and walked away and then brought food to the table and walked away. He did ask a couple of times how things were but again he just quickly walked away. One at our table had the lamb chops and 1 was overcooked so it took awhile to flag our server down and have him at the table long enough to explain the issue. The chop that was not cooked properly was replaced so that issue was solved. Two in our party had the beef tenderloin (I was one of them and opted to have the garlic spinach vs the green beans) .. the beef and sides were tasty enough but both were ordered medium rare and both came out a little overdone around the edges but the middle was cooked properly. The size of the cut of beef, however, did not justify the 50 dollar price tag. Again I would return - but it is not memorable enough to rush back.

I always make a habit of stopping by Blue Canyon whenever I'm in northeast Ohio on business with Kent State University. The food is great, the wine and cocktail list is both varied and reasonably priced, and the customer service above board.

Dined at Blue Canyon to celebrate a birthday. Menu options were well presented, but two in our party decided to try the Fish Fry specials. Huge, battered portions of Cod, paired with fun twists on traditional sides featured during Lent. Another member of our party enjoyed the Duck Lo Mein and raved about his meal. Kudos to the Chef. The ambiance is welcoming, paying attention to the lodge style theme, with a touch of sophistication. The new updates were smartly done. We had a table by the fireplace, and the birthday guest of honor was very impressed, as it was his first-time dining here. Service was terrific. Our server, Amy, was friendly, efficient and attentive. Looking forward to trying brunch here in the future.

I have nothing but great things to say about Blue Canyon. The brunches are phenomenal. My husband and I went to their most recent brunch and the food exceeded our expectations. I’m still dreaming of the brunch, even almost 2 weeks later.Additionally, I had my baby shower here last January. I never left a review then, but I look back on that day with fond memories shared with my friends & family with delicious food.I would highly recommend Blue Canyon for any events, date nights, or just a family brunch/dinner, if you’re looking for high quality food and service.

It's fine...although, I very much prefer their old style and menu! I'll probably try again once they totally finish their remodel. Although, their summer patio is the BEST around!!!

Valentine's dinner with my sweetheart! The Tavern space is comfortable and quiet enough for conversation. The variety of different spaces is nice. It was the best calamari appetizer we have had in many years. Tender, lightly crisp breading with a excellent sauce and spicy pepper slices. The pork schnitzel competes with the best in Vienna. And the beef tenderloin was cooked as requested and tender. Side dishes of yukon potatoes and green beans very good.

Visited Blue Canyon for their Valentine's Brunch last Sunday. Let me just say we have been here more than several times in the past, even having my son's wedding reception here, and have always had a good experience. Sadly not the case at this visit. A number of things on the buffet were not even warm, let alone hot. The chicken , breakfast sausages and pork loin were all overcooked and dry (even though we were there at 10:00am, so you would expect everything to be fresh at that time) , and the bacon was undercooked. The beef that the chef was carving was exceptionally rare (and I like mine rare) and very fatty. Only 2 salads were available and a limited fruit tray. No breads or bagels. The redeeming choice was the egg benedict, but I could have bought an awful lot of eggs for the $42.95 cost of the buffet. (Plus another $4.00 for a small glass of juice) Good thing we lucked out with a great server!!!
