Never misplace your receipt and ALWAYS check the prices you are charged! I learned the hard way. Only over $5. I called customer service as soon as I got home to tell them the cereal I bought out of their half price cart was charged full price. Was suppose to be $2.50 a box. Customer service said they must not of had it in their system and they will take care of it next time I am in. I said it may be awhile to come back again. They said that does not matter. This morning I went in and shopped. On my way out I asked customer service about the $5 I was over charged. She said how long ago was that? I said less than a month. She wanted to see my receipt. I said I do not even think I have it anymore. Was not told to keep it and sounded like all would be fixed easily. There is nothing she can do then she said. I said just look at my card and you will see the over charge. She said she cannot do that. They did that a long time ago for some food that was bad. My receipt is in their system! After all that continued wasted time over $5 I said just forget it and left. Am done at that store. Its sad but its something I refuse to deal with even on such a small amount. Like I am a thief which in this case they are the thief! I will shop at Walmart and Gordons for food. Simple as that.

I’m so disappointed Giant Eagle discontinued their weekly sales ad, all the other grocers still have them!

We were on our way home from holiday fun and stopped here (because it's off the freeway) to get a couple of things. Its the only grocery store I've ever seen with the " pharmacy" near the front...weird but interesting. Nothing fancy at this grocery store particularly the service. They have 4 self serve checkouts, not enough in my option cause we stood in line for 15. Also, they had one (human) checker, again not enough people. Clearly this store doesn't have a manger who cares about getting people on their way. I'm not sure what this place is like during "rush hour" but I wouldn't want to be in here...waiting more than 15 mins for self check is annoying; they should be giving me a discount for wasting my time.

This Giant Eagle's store is typical.... organized, clean and well stocked! Employees are always welcoming and helpful. Giant Eagle's store boasts a vast inventory of adult beverages! Their bakery is very good, baking delicious bread, doughnuts, all occasion cakes decorated to order. Nice seafood and fresh meats departments. Great deli with a huge variety of breads & rolls! Check out their weekly ads for great deals! #SatisfiedCustomer

Fruits veggies and meat are rarely fresh and frequently spoiled and moldy. These have clearly been sitting on the shelf for weeks. This is a frequent issue at this location. Only shop here for basics if you’re desperate.

Giant eagle has never been known for high-quality or good service. I have not been to one until today for a couple of years. Now I remember why. The self check out was all that was available in a clear cost cutting measure. The store was just messy and disorganized. And people couldn't really be bothered to help.

They need to get less rude cashiers, the lady that just rang me out seem to hate me for choosing her line

I never write reviews about big stores but this is an exception. I went in to look for a bakery item and the selection was sparse so instead I decided to ask a quick question to the clerk working. I regretted my decision immediately. Walking over I could tell she did not want to be bothered. But, she saw me so I guess she felt obligated. I asked my question but she couldn't hear so she rolled her eyes and walked over. I couldn't believe how rude this person was. I wasn't asking anything complicated, confusing, or crazy. One. Simple. Question. I will not be returning to this location.

This is our go-to for birthday cakes. They always look nice, and need very little advance notice.
