I initially gave a 5-star review, but after the experience I had with Megan at H&R Block, I feel compelled to update it. I was given inaccurate information when I specifically asked about the difference between RITA and Ohio State Tax—a crucial distinction that was not properly explained. I was also told I could “likely” receive refunds from RITA if I went in person, but I later learned it’s widely known among tax professionals that RITA typically issues refunds only by paper check. I felt misguided and poorly advised throughout the process.
Megan’s email replies were unprofessional, often limited to one-word responses, which made me feel dismissed rather than supported. I approached every interaction respectfully and asked reasonable, fair questions to ensure everything was filed correctly and that I would receive what I was owed. Instead, I felt ignored, undervalued, and ultimately disrespected. Her tone also came across with an unnecessary attitude.
For a service I paid for, I expected professionalism, clear communication, and proper guidance. Unfortunately, I did not receive that here. I will not be returning to H&R Block at this location.

I've been going to this place for a long time and I'm very displeased and disappointment that every time expert in there told me that I cannot claim my child on taxes saying that m6 child has to live with me. When im paying child support.. but after I found out and did some research third parties gotta have custody or guardianship to claim a child on taxes so with that being said your staff member lied to me and I will never do business with y'all ever again it's a shame that you guys don't understand how tax laws really work very bad for business when you don't give the right information to hard-working fathers that is being disrespected

My first time ever going to a Tax Professional and Lynn was very kind, knowledgeable and understanding. We laughed and I enjoyed my experience with her and filing my taxes. Fees were honest with documentation and very professional. I will be coming next year, I recommend you call to schedule with Lynn. Everyone at the office is great though, even the wonderful front desk lady who helped me answer my concern with health insurance document. Everyone is so knowledgeable and kind. Give H&R Block in Twinsburg a call!

Zero Stars
These folks are thieves!
They baited and switched me on fees, then in cooperation with the IRS, took all of my refund
My refund was supposed to be $337
The IRS took an extra $104 because they estimated something wrong on my health insurance (don't ask me what, taxes are too complicated for anyone but a tax expert)
Then my fee went from $99 to $198 because of some blah blah blah
There are many lessons here
First off never use H & R Block they bait and switch seniors
I tried to get this straightened out over the phone and H & R Block customer service hung up on me
I'm calling my bank to get the charges stopped immediately

I was very pleased with my experience with H & R Block. My tax specialist, Justin Morrison, was very informed and explained our results in detail. He also helped to reduce our tax liability by explaining the benefit of filing separately as a married couple which we elected to do. Thank you for the efficient service.Denise Clay

I went to HR block to have my sons taxes done and it was an entire mess. Now when I am having my taxes done through another company, mines has now been rejected due to an error of a supposed expert . Never ever using HR block again
