Honestly at first I thought they were a great vet, but after the experience I have had with them within the last few days, I will never take my dogs there ever again! If you call you’ll be disconnected or on hold for 25 minutes, or if you call and need records they give you an excuse and don’t send what you need!Highly not recommended find another vet that actually cares about your pets

Been taking our “pups” to these absolutely amazing people for veterinary care and boarding for over ten years. We could not be more happy. Would never trust them with anyone else. Can’t recommend them more highly.

We have been going there since the late 70’s. I see Dr Jeremy and Dr Rachael. They are caring and compassionate. I trust them to take care of my pets.

Dr Jeremy It's a shame our relationship ended the way it did today. Since I was blocked from EM I will air the dirty laundry here. I cannot believe you have lost a longtime great customer due to your rude Tech and incorrect information. The tech insulted me by not listening to my explanation and further lied that you would potentially lose your state license by my almost 9-year dog if she is not re-boosted. I'm astonished after the long-term care, two euthanized beloved pets and thousands of dollars I have spent at your clinic it would end like this. The sad part is it would have been at least decent of you to speak with me personally. Word travels fast amongst dog folks too bad. Also, there is NO LAW IN OHIO for mandatory rabies shots. That is false information you and your Tech are pushing for some unknown agenda. If it is for insurance liability, I could understand that reason, but not blatant misinformation. Word travels fast amongst dog folks too bad. Regards, Karen G Mavis & Calli Rabies Information for Veterinarians Is rabies a required vaccination in Ohio? Ohio has no state rabies law requiring rabies vaccinations. Ohio law gives local governments the authority to enact rabies vaccination regulations at their discretion. Please reach out to your local health department for local rabies vaccination requirements. Even if rabies vaccination is NOT required at the state or local level, vaccination of all dogs/cats is strongly recommended. There are certain situations for which the State of Ohio does require vaccinations of dogs or cats. They include: Dogs or cats imported from other states or countries. Dogs or cats by the end of a quarantine for either biting a human or potential exposure to a rabid animal. Dogs or cats staying in a Division of Parks and Watercraft and Division of Forestry campgrounds. Dogs in State Parks must wear a tag as proof of rabies vaccination. Pets that visit or reside in residential care facilities. Counties mentioned in the Director's Journal Entry(2019). The Director's Journal Entry was created in response to racoon variant rabies entering the state and covers several eastern Ohio counties. Updated journal entries and laws and can be found on the Ohio Department of Health?s Zoonotic Disease Program webpage. Also, while there may be no state, or even local, requirements for rabies vaccination, there ARE state laws that govern what happens to dogs/cats that are exposed (or potentially exposed) to rabies based on their vaccination status. -- Karen G & her Furkids

I would love to recommend the Twinsburg Veterinary Hospital but I am giving it one star because there's little to no communication nor is it timely manner. Need an appointment? A prescription re-fill? Have a general question? Good luck. They either keep you on hold for 30/40 minutes (I wish that were an exaggeration) or you can leave a message. Are you a busy person and may not be able to answer hours later when they call you back? Well, then get ready to play phone tag. The doctors are great but there comes a time when it's just not worth the frustration anymore. For the record, I called 2.5 hours ago and I'm still waiting for a call back.

I love this vet. My family dog was under their care throughout his life up until the end, in which they were extremely compassionate through that difficult process. They now take care of my current pup and I am so relieved to be able to continue to have them as our vet for our new baby. They have always been patient, compassionate, and wonderful in terms of care provided with both of my animals. Would recommend.

We're so happy we found the Twinsburg Pet Lodge for our dog. We tried a couple other places and they said she was too big and aggressive (she's a 3yr old 100lb+ American Bulldog), but she's found a home at the Pet Lodge. We've been sending her there for the last three years when we go on our family vacation for a week. She's grown to love them so much over the years. She was nervous and stressed the first time, but now she runs to them and they love on her, which is nice to see. Highly recommend the Twinsburg Pet Lodge to anyone looking for a home away from home place for your furry family member.

The staff here clearly loves animals. They took great care of my cat and they visited with her and gave her attention throughout the week. I will definitely use their services again.

Great place to take your pet. They are kind and loving to our yorkies Danny and Louie. We have been with them since 1976. All our pets were taken care of I would not take my Yorkies anywhere. They take their time and always answer all questions . They are reassuring when our boys are sick that all will be fine.

The best there is. We take all of our small animals to Twinsburg Vet for their wellness checkups and they have been so wonderful for a few emergencies as they have come up. Most recently we had to take one of our dogs for an emergency and they were wonderful from us calling to us bringing him in. He had to stay through the weekend and they called every night to tell us how he was doing and give updates. Outstanding care. Every vet, tech, and assistant who works there has always been empathetic and knowledgeable. If you care about your pets health and wellbeing, bring your pets here for their care.

My cat partially tore out one of his toenails. So I had to get in in a hurry. I’ve never been to this vet before. My vet is about an hour away and I didn’t want to drive that far with winter roads. They were kind enough to get me in the very next day. The vet and all the staff were very nice. They explained in detail what they were going to do and how it would help the cat. They all seem very compassionate and loving and kind towards my cat.I like the facility. It appears to be newer. The examination tables which usually are just all metal had a very nice one and a half inch padded foam mat on it which I feel makes the animals relax a lot more. It wasn’t just open foam. It was a foam pad with like a waterproof covering on it. That can be wiped down.I’m glad to get established with this vet and him being so close. Their location is easy to get to and there’s plenty of parking.

My husband and I love taking our dog to Twinsburg Veterinary Hospital and Pet Lodge!!! They take very well care of him during our vacations, giving us peace of mind that he is a happy puppy. Their team is very helpful with booking appointments last minute, they are very well organized and knowledgeable if any questions arise. The pup is happy and us owners are too!

As far as the veterinary service at this location, I was very happy with the service I received for my cat. My cat had torn one of his toenails, halfway out and the service, led him very efficiently and humanely. I would give the veterinary service here five stars. I have not use the boarding service yet, but I did go in and get my dog on the waiting list for doggy day care and all the vaccine information etc. to have them set up for boarding in the future. I didn't like that you are not able to go and actually see the units. I didn't like that they don't have cameras for all the dogs units. I also didn't like the garden room. Doggie door does not have a clear flap to prevent the wind from blowing in the area. I love the garden room because the dogs can let themselves in and out during regular business hours. That's exactly what I'm usually looking for. However, the opening should have a clear plastic Flap For them to push to go in and out and keep the weather outside. Only their two most expensive rooms have video cams. Although the receptionist was extremely nice and very humble, I felt like the competency level was not very high. I do like for the cat boarding area. If they're not overcrowded, the cats can be in two of their units versus one. In addition they open up the doors for each unit and let the cats take turns roaming around so they're not locked up in their cubicle all day. There's a photo attached. With every place there's pros and cons. In general I would give the dog boarding four stars and the vet five stars.

I transferred my large senior dog's care here after we were initially referred for rehabilitative services. I have no doubt the care and support he received here during his PT, acupuncture and other care for his health needs, including helping us manage a cancerous tumor while also managing his mobility challenges, drastically helped prolong and improve his quality of life. The many phone calls and visits over the two years or so he received care here were consistent in their caring support and professionalism. The end of life care he received was also the best I could have possibly hoped for during such a difficult time. Would 100% of the time recommend Twinsburg Vet for those seeking care or looking to change care for their pets. I am especially grateful to Dr. Rachael. I always felt she treated my dog like her own and for that I am ever grateful.
