I had a racist interaction with Jackie, the branch manager. After mentioning to her that my ID only lasted 2 years and showing her my ID, somehow she proceeded to ask me if i was a green card holder. Yes I am Asian but I was born in the US. This was completely uncalled for.

While doing some spring cleaning I found a large bag of wrapped coins. I was brought back to a memory of the super loud coin machines and thought to myself that nobody likes hearing those things. So I walked in to the Lane Avenue branch with my bag of rolled coins, anxiety slightly elevated because I didn't want to ruin anyone's day and I was greeted by one of the most kind and caring people behind the desk. Jeanie (I hope I spelled that right) informed me that they could not take the rolls as is, but we could use the machine. She not only assured me that nobody minds the noise (which wasn't as bad as I remember anyway) but she also helped me unwrap every roll and showed me how to use the machine. The coins went into the machine and directly into my account. On top of the stellar customer experience the facility was clean and bright despite the rainy Ohio weather. I am glad to conduct my business with Wright-Patt, especially for all of the little reasons like today. Thank you, Jeanie!

I stopped here in July to make a car payment only because I was in the area. I received outstanding service from Jeanne at the front teller station. As a result of that, I have continued to go back there since then although it's not in my area. Jeanne is an AMAZING asset for WPCU. That's saying a lot because they're all pretty nice at the branches. But Jeanne is really a cut above. So stop in & see her, treat yourself to some "old-fashioned" customer service! PS the Asst Mgr (Ian?) was also very helpful on my first visit also.

I joined WPCU after moving to the US about 8 months ago. The staff here at UA have always been exceptional in helping me every step along the way in my journey to establish my finances here. A special mention to Ian S who helped me refinance my car and my credit card products. He was amazing, informative, and made the process painless. Thank you!

They have very poor communication. I applied for a home equity loan and thawed my credit freeze. I didn't know I needed to take the freeze completely off my account. I learned this after the loan was pending for one week by calling into their center their associate explain this to me and said they tried to contact me, but they called and did not leave a voicemail message as confirmed by their associate, I asked how I was supposed to know action was needed on my part, and did not receive an answer, I Seint have removed the freeze on my account and called back for them to finish the processing as per the instructions of the first associate. I learned today when I did this that because it has been over three days I must restart the entire application, I will be restarting an application with a different financial institution. They seem to have very poor communication. I would recommend going elsewhere.

Wow this was the most racist credit union I have ever experienced. The young man did not acknowledge my family but when the woman of his color came in behind them he spoke & helped her. I told my son I am so glad I did not apply for anything from this company. The funny part is he made sure he did not look at them so we could get his name. You know the sad part about things in the world like this you could be entertaining an angel and don't even know JESUS take the WHEEL in this crazy world!!!

I have been to atleast 3 different branches for Wright Patt and dealt with many tellers and including 2 different ones at this location. There is a female teller who argues with me telling me she needs my pay stub to deposit a check I’ve deposited many times for months yet it has never happened at other branches or even other tellers in that branch.

worst experience i've had with a banking institution. the incompetence and lack of modernity within their dated and useless customer interfaces are embarrassingly bad. truly a disgrace to the military roots of their namesake. take your business elsewhere.

I use to do my banking at the Grandview branch, but started coming to this branch because of their associates. Very friendly and professional. I prefer handling my cash with an actual person instead of a machine. Keep up the great work! :)
