I called the "new" Ithaca Gun Company to gather some information on a 1940s Ithaca, and ended up having a 20-30 minute conversation with one of their gunsmiths about the history of the company, construction of their firearms over time, etc. There are very few companies that will take so much time to help out a customer. Though my current Ithaca is an old one from the (now closed) Ithaca NY factory, I will be giving the "new" Ithaca Gun Co my business in the future. Excellent people. Highly recommended. I've had an opportunity to fire one of their new production Ithaca 37's since our conversation, and can attest to its quality. They're producing a product that would make the original Ithaca Gun proud.”
