First time ever being in a harbor freight.. The Van Wert store was awesome..All the employees where very polite and offered help more than once. Will definitely return to this store again. The manager even said hope to see you next time ..

Love this store but do not appreciate the way we were talked to last night. I've worked at a retail store and when people were in at almost closing time, I did not say or treat them any differently. I would ask if I can help with anything (like I normally do no matter the time). I do not like going in close to closing of places myself. Last night, my husband and I went in real quick to kill some time while our friend was at Chief's. I did not realize they closed at 8pm and we went in at 5 till. Our mistake. But a minute into the store and a worker asked in a somewhat aggressive tone "Do you guys need help with anything before we close?!". I just felt like instead of being pushy to get us out, they could've waited till close and just let us know then that they were closing. I would've apologized whole heartedly as we didn't know and got out of there.

This place is packed! Lots and lots of stuff to choose from. I was very impressed my First time here. I even walked out with some stuff I didn’t need but they had it and o well.

Always a pleasure. The manager did an excellent job going out of his way to make me a happy customer. Happy customers are return customers. Very clean well stocked store. Competency abounds!

I will never shop at a Harbor Freight store ever again I bought a compressor because I needed a second one for a job it did not work so I went and bought a compressor from a store close to the job I was at I returned the one to Harbor Freight and they charged me a $12.99 restock fee even though the item is defective so not only did I waste time and gas I'm out cash now too

The employees at this store were very helpful in helping me find the various tools and parts I was needing. The tools that they sell are now of a pretty decent quality and actually worth buying and holding on to for years since they hold up so well.

So far they've had everything I've gone in looking for. It's hit or miss with the tool quality but so far I've been happy with most everything I've bought.
