DO NOT RENT A CAR HERE! PLEASE READ! The 5 star reviews are people they have posting reviews for them because of all the bad reviews! This place is the worst place I have ever tried to rent a car from! They failed to include a $400 deposit in the price when I reserved a car. When I got there I couldn't afford it and we canceled the reservation. They took $100 as a fee for me not canceling the reservation that they were supposed to cancel. The first lady I called and spoke to said the fee was $50. The 2nd lady said it was $100. Either way, I got none of the money back that I had prepaid and it was more than $100. Also, I asked to speak to a manager more than once and was never allowed to! DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM HERE!!!

Had a great experience with Alamo. Was able to choose between a BMW 2 series and an Infinity Q50. Car was clean and was happy with the ease of the whole process.

Hassle free rental and our "midsize" was nice '21 Toyota Camry. We had to cut our 7 day rental reservation short by 3 days due to Covid, and Joshua Smith was outstanding! Very understanding and accommodating. Would rent from Alamo again because of how Joshua treated us.

LONG BUT PLEASE READ. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, especially if Marquise is working there. Absolutely no sense of honoring the confirmed reservation. I booked my reservation on Priceline and received a confirmation. I showed the confirmation that was on my phone to Marquise at the front desk. He told me that he cannot give me the car at this price. He then gave me a higher price from what I booked. I asked him, how could that be possible when I just recently had booked a reservation. The whole point of a reservation is to reserve my booking with the correct price. Otherwise, I could have just gone elsewhere if I wanted to pay a heftier amount. At this point, he had started to become really rude as he spoke to me. He then tried to make another excuse to not give me a car and said that another person made the reservation. He said he saw the group chat messages as he scrolled my phone. I showed him my confirmation code and instead he went on to read my messages!!! This is an invasion of privacy, how can he just scroll through my personal messages and MY PHONE. I had already told him my brother wrote down all the details as I was driving. The reservation had MY Name, my email, my credit card, and license information. There should be no issue. Then he asked me to stand to the side and just starts talking to customers behind me. I stood there patiently for 20 minutes just watching him talk to two customers that came after me!! After they left, I very calmly tried to talk to him. I asked to speak with the manager and he said he was the manager. I tried explaining my situation as I needed to head back home and it was almost midnight. Most places were closing up. Marquise, the manager, shut his window on my face. This ruined my thanksgiving travel and the time that I wanted to spend with my family.

The young man working the garage counter today need to serious work on his people skills. He has a very nasty disposition and is not friendly at all. It was so bad...I just said nevermind and booked elsewhere. And he also needs to groom himself

We booked a vehicle at this location last minute because of flight issues that would not allow us to fly to Cleveland. We called letting Alamo know that we would be really late due to flight delays. The agent we spoke with assured us they would wait for us. When we arrived no one was anywhere around inside or outside. Luckily a Hertz agent was at their post and we were able to get a car to drive to our final destination. Very frustrating after being delayed all day and before having to drive 3 hours at 1am.

Went to Alamo to get a rental. Last time I rent from them was in June of 2020. Last year they just only hold $200 off my credit card. Now it’s $400 deposit hold fee due to the Pandemic. Remind you, my rental was only $150 for four days. I can see they hold that amount on a Debit card, but a CREDIT CARD????? REALLY? No Thanks. I’ll stick with Avis and budget. I’ll never rent from Alamo and enterprise NO MORE.

If I could give this location negative stars I would! I’ve rented with Alamo for years! Yesterday near closing time I called and set up a reservation for a employee on and one way rental using a debit card! I know that you must have a return flight which she had. She gets there and the women at the counter name Beth rudely told her she wasn’t going to rent to get because her return flight to Dayton was 2 days after the return day of the vehicle in Dallas.. she went on to say that if the return flight didn’t line up within so many hrs of the vehicle return she couldn’t rent because of company policy! I wondering when did company policy change and where was the notification just like how the deposit thing came about and customers weren’t notified.. horrible business for insider members

I recently rented a car from Alamo for $144 for 4 days. Was very satisfied with car and price. On 4th day I needed to extend my rental and Alamo informed me it would be $303 to extend rental for a day. I told the customer rep that that was ridiculous and she told me that I got that price through Hotwire and Dayton International Airport Alamo price was $303. I told her I would return the car immediately. I then went online and reservered the same car at same place for same price. So, where does Alamo come up with $303 for one day rental of a Nissan Sentra? I will never rent from Alamo again and definitely will never recommend them to anyone. I should've stayed with Budget Rental.

It was the worst experience I have ever had renting a car. We were rented a car with a sticker on the key that said will not start. Because you don’t need the key to start the car it stayed in my purse so we did not notice it until we were on the road and stopped for food and the car would not start. After many times of trial and we got it started and took it to the closest Alamo rental and that’s where it was noticed the sticker was on it that said will not start. They did not have a large SUV that we wanted we got stuck in a minivan actually had to leave a cooler behind no room.I can go on about this but U get the jest it was terrible. They could find us a large suv. For the remainder of our trip.
