They make low ball offers on coins....they are the same as other coin dealers...they try to get something for nothing.

Awesome place... I walked in the door and showed Mike the 4 vintage baseball cards that I had brought with me... He carefully examined the cards for authenticity and condition..He offered me a very fair price for all of them especially seeing as they were not graded... I'm super happy ? love this place!!!

I'm posting 4stars because, I've sold a lot of my Morgans and peace dollars to them at a fraction of their value. Over 50 one dollar silvers. For a FRACTION! of there value. That being said. They still paid me better than anyone else, from Cincinnati to Indianapolis. And everywhere else. So when they said we pay top dollar, they didn't lie. They have been really nice to me. They did give my a great price for a key date that made me very happy. I really like there store and I would recommend it to others. If I had more time on earth I would have kept my collection and built it up more but you just can't take it with you. So I sold a good bit of it to have fun. Thanks Crossroads coins for everything. God bless.

They want your license just to buy less than 10K of metals, supposedly so they can provide you a receipt lol. If you want to be on the government list, shop there.

I understand they "have" to profit. They're buying, for the most part, MONEY. Currency. I'm aware gold and silver prices fluctuate. But say someone goes to the US Mint and buys (or sees one they already own) a silver proof set for $219. But then 6 months later they have an emergency and need cash. They could theoretically sell the set for $125-$149 on eBay (that's what they were going for). But they need the cash sooner. So they go to the friendly {ahem} neighborhood coin store. As is routine, they get bent over with an insulting offer of $50 from the owner, knowing the person will accept because, probably - they REALLY need money. So they're paying the customer LESS THAN 25% of its actual value - for silver/currency worth way more than $50. They'll probably tag it at 3x that to sell it with a toothy grin, advertising it as a "killer deal." It's not necessarily dishonesty, but definitely taking advantage of people who are paying customers in a crunch. Unfortunately, it's the closest place (and most knowledgeable, for better or worse) around that buys the sets. I'm all about capitalism, but this place is a disgusting side of it. Worse than a dishonest pawn shop (and I love most pawn shops). And after this practice happens to you a couple times...it's very difficult to be friendly with them when walking into the shop. And don't even get me started on the so-called "trading card" part of the shop..."Joe's." It amazes me either part has been in business for so long.

Needed some coin sleeves and waited around for a long time while people that stopped in after us were helped. Even took them a long time while we were the last two visitors. They apparently didn't want our business. They are cheaper on Amazon anyways.

Dealt with Crossroads as a seller and a buyer for close to a decade now in the wholesale aspect of the coin business. They are one of the largest and most successful coin shops in the Midwest for a reason. They are honest folks, very fair, and fully equipped with the staff and expertise in house to handle collections of any size and coins of any value. Few coin dealerships in the United States have been in business for 3 generations. Crossroads is one of those with staying power. They are a solid 5 star establishment whether your looking to buy, trade, or sell your coins, paper money, precious metals, as well as a few other odds and ends.

Absolute scam artists! They have terrible interactions with their costumes. Rude and straight to the point. They're not interested in building a relationship with the customers and that's key! I don't see them being around too much longer as long as people continue to expose them for the crooks they are. And that they are! Seller beware! Shop around, don't sell to them. Especially gold coins or premium silver. Just sell them generic silver that's all they're good for. As far as buying, same just buy generic silver and even then, you will feel almost like you're paying shipping and handling too SMH. Just terrible! ??

Never take your premium silver to these individuals, they will lie and rip you off and offer spot price for premium silver. SMH use ⚠ ! Extreme ⚠! They're only good for selling your generics. Don't even think to sell them anything else. Just buy and sell genarac silver. Don't buy or sell gold in any form. ⚠
