So let me start off by saying had already had an awful experience at the other Dayton location (read my review on their profile). My rented car broke down and it quickly became all my own problem. Long story short had to Uber to this location since my enterprise rental broke down and they “were out of cars” so had to come to this location. So I went to the front desk and watched the woman there eat her food , not even lunch time, for 3 min at least before she even looked up at me. Told her I was told to come here to get another car so I could go home finally. She asked me where the car was, told her I was told to turn it into the other location. She says to me they won’t give me a car until they have that one there, although I was smart enough to get a receipt from the other location that I turned it in. Showed her that paper and told her I was told to come there by the corporate office and that they would let them know I was coming. She said she “didn’t know nothing about that” and that I could go into the garage and see if they could do anything. I did that. Man was that fun. 3 people in the booth. Each out pacing each other in a race to see who could be the most rude and unhelpful. I explained the situation, 2 hours deep into this ordeal at this point, were they could not have seemed less likely interested. The employee Tyler looked like I just stole his whole day in having to break up his conversation and do his job. At one point he rolled his eyes at me, no not kidding. Each one was so condescending. They said they couldn’t take my receipt of me turning it in, although straight from that other location. That they needed to talk to them directly. So that of course meant they needed to call them 4 times before they picked up. Then they had a conversation where I picked up in their whispers that I was being such an inconvenience for all of them. Also heard that the other location actually had 5 cars but didn’t want to have to go pick up more. FINALLY they give me another car. No sorrys, no thank yous. I even said thanks for helping trying to be nice , and no one even replied. Enterprise has the worst customer service training I’ve ever seen. In literally my entire life I’ve never dealt with this level of customer service failure. I honestly at one point felt like it was a hidden camera show. The car they gave me broke down, but somehow I was treated like garbage and a problem the whole way just to get another car and get home. Btw I reached out to the corporate number and filed a complaint, was told I would get a call back. Never did. I’m not shocked if this is the same person who handles the frontline staffs training. I’ve rented from them almost every two weeks and still zero respect or help when I really needed it. Avoid enterprise and take your business to a company that wants it.

Tosha was so helpful and friendly when we picked up the car and when we dropped it off. People like her are why we rent exclusively from enterprise!

Returning the car to Lima, Ohio was hassle free, and quick. The employee at Lima was polite, respectful, and explained the entire process.

This is for the Dayton Airport location:Check in was quick and fairly easy. Just didn’t know I needed to go to the National Car rental station in the garage instead of the Enterprise station. The car was clean and drove nice. However, one day into my one week rental the “Change engine oil soon” message came up. Since this is a rental and you don’t know the deal with the car, I checked the oil. Sure enough, it was extremely low. I purchased a quart and put it in of course…didn’t want the car engine to blow up on my watch and especially not since I needed the car and didn’t have time for any issues. When I turned the car in on Tuesday I informed the agent and gave him the receipt. He was very nice said he’d make sure I was credited, but I wasn’t.Enterprise has been our choice for car rentals and we always seem to get decent clean cars and experience friendly staff no matter where we go/rent. However, this is actually the second time I’ve rented a car with Enterprise at this location where the oil was super low and had to buy & put some in. From this same location a year+ ago when I rented a car the idiot light came on for tire pressure before I ever completely left the garage area. I put air in the tire, but it kept happening. Turns out there was a screw in the tire and I had it fixed instead of taking it back to get another car because I didn’t have that kind of time on my hands. Said I’d be reimbursed, but wasn’t. My point is, so much focus is put on the body…dings, scratches, dents, etc., but does anyone ever check the oil, tires, etc. before it’s put back out there to be rented? That is the reason for my lower stars.

While traveling out of town for work, I had to renew my contract. The staff were great however, after I left I noticed a fee on my account:Customer Facility Charge 5.50/day ($5.50 /Day) $137.50andConcession Recoup Fee 11.11 Pct (11.11%) $85.30I was unaware that these charges would be on my account for just picking up from the airport. This was the only location that had car availability, otherwise I would not have gone to this location. Now I cannot connect with the Dayton Intl Airport location at all, they will not answer the phone. So if you are renting from this location, make sure you look at your receipt so you do not need to contact them once you leave.

The gentleman running the counter had a terrible attitude and told me he didn’t need or care if I did business with them. After almost 6 years of my company doing business at this location with great customer service this was surprising. But on my return to the location to swap the vehicle out. His attitude was even worse. I canceled my rental and went to a competitor. No idea what the guys problem is but you’ve lost me and my company as a customer. Of course if he’s right. You don’t care. It’s a real shame.

Enterprise makes renting an automobile a breeze! The people at the counter were efficient and friendly. The car was clean and comfortable, suited our needs perfectly. Great rental experience!!

I've used this Enterprise location twice now and I'm so impressed by the team. Noah and Jarred really stepped up to the plate this time. We had an issue with rented car seats and they both made sure we were taken care of.

Total lack of regard for the customer at the leadership level. Booked a car in advance and checked in online. Received zero indication that all cars were out of stock and that there would be a 90 minute wait. Exactly like the Seinfeld episode where they give away Jerry's car and he's left asking how they define a reservation.

Nice staff, poor management... I rented a vehicle back in April. After leaving driving for a bit, we noticed a bad wobble from the rear. We went to a local branch and were told that they were on a different system and couldn't exchange. I call Enterprise road service and was told to take it to another branch, same response. We were then told to take the vehicle to an airport to exchange. After almost two days we had to drive an hour to the nearest airport on back roads because the vehicle was unsafe to exchange it. Upon our return date our departing airport was changed to another airport an hour away. Enterprise said it there would be a one-way fee. I drove to Dayton airport and was told that they would not charge me and a manager would call me the next day. No one called. I spoke to the corporate office and had a dozen requests for the branch to call. They never called. I finally called directly and spoke to Colon twice in May and once in June to correct my issues. I was always promised a call that never happened. Finally I called and requested the RM Chris to call me three times, once in June, once in July and again in August and I have yet to hear from him. I paid for a functioning car in which I did not receive and had to spend my vacation correcting the issue and now 5 months later I'm still waiting on a call. I have used Enterprise for 10+ years and this branch is by far the worst to deal with.
