The sad state of affairs is that there are delays upon delays and airlines have not fixed those issues. I had options to buy other tickets that are cheaper with longer layovers. I paid a certain price for the smaller lay over but United was unable to fulfill their stated and implied promises lowering the value of my ticket. I believe that they should give automatically back via credit card deposit $50 after half hour delay and half the ticket price after 1. hour and free after 2 hours. I would suspect they would make the extra effort to be online, ensure maintenance is up to date and have more planes ready to fill in. Saddened by the risks and delays of airlines. Maybe Congress needs to regulate the poor performers.

I had the nicest friendliest united crew on my recent flight. Really made my hectic travel better.

Absolutely terrible, In a day where you can basically get all flights for the same price I would never use United airlines again. Terrible service, they don’t even know their own policies and very very hard to deal with. Delta had treated us much better every flight.

Boarded plane. Ready to taxi... NOPE! Get off and they send you to 6 different gates on 2 different terminals (that you need to ride a train to get to)... save your money; save the headache; deal w the d*** seating stategy on southwest and fly on an airline that will actually take off. Thanks for screwing up Christmas United. You guys used to be DECENT... never again. Wish there was a zero star option.

I just wanted to note that the gate agents are rude and seemed bothered to answer a general question. I will stick with Delta from here on out and recommend you do also. With the price of flights, you would expect a professional disposition of the people representing the airline.

I wish I could give no stars!!! This rude lady really pissed me off. I was waiting in front of the counter for about 20 mins. My boyfriend went to the counter over and he was told he couldn't be helped to go back. But he was told in a few words. So finally this lady walks up and starts typing away in the computer. I said nicely "hello, would you be kind enough to help me?". No answer, didn't even acknowledge me. Okay I thought, maybe she didn't hear me. I repeated myself. This time she looked up and said "AFTER I SIGN IN!" She rolled her eyes and proceeded to type again. My blood boiled. Here I am being nice and she just wants to be rude. I understand she needs to sign in but she couldn't answered me politely !!! First of all United has ruined our whole trip. To start off, we missed our flight from Dayton, Ohio to Chicago because they only had 3 people working and we tried to check in on the kiosk and no one ever came to help us after the kiosk said someone would come help us finish checking in. We stood in line for almost an hour!!! Now we have a 6 hour lay over before I get to board a plane to LAX . I'm not happy about being here for 6 hours and then be treated like a piece of crap by a unprofessional united employee. Well finally she decided she was gonna help and she did absolutely nothing but tried to take my boarding pass and tell me to come back for it. My boyfriend and I paid for our seats to be together so that's why we were trying to get that fixed so we can be together. I told her no! I need my boarding why the hell did she want to keep it??? Well she ripped our boarding passes and I had to demand to get them reprinted. Finally she did and as we were walking away from her my boyfriend realized she printed my ticket for LAS VEGAS!!!!! WTH!!! I'm going to LOS ANGELES!!! I'm glad he noticed, I feel like she did that on purpose. I was obviously gonna miss that Vegas flight and then try to board with my boyfriend to Los Angeles I was gonna be in a big mess!! I went back to her, she didn't even apologize for her "mistake". We got our boarding pass and I asked for her name. And she refused to give it to me and asked me to leave because she needed to help customers. All of the sudden she wanted to be helpful to others but when it came to me she was a pain!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I GIVE MY BUSINESS TO UNITED AIRLINES!!!
