Not a very good experience. Would not recommend, especially if you are trying to get pre-approval to purchase a vehicle. They started the process, pulled my credit and gave me advice. I followed up with a phone call to ask a question about said advice and my call was ignored. No follow up return call. I find that extremely unprofessional and will not be moving forward with this particular credit union.

I opened our account 10 years ago. At the time the staff and service were amazing. Now everytime I log in or walk into a branch and see "Your best interest at heart" I get angry. I believe today was my last straw .......is it in someone's best interest to charge them $30 for $0.35 overdraft!!! Oh an then proceed to tell them you will not refund the fee because they were kind enough to refund one fee 3 years ago!!! Is it in someone's best interest to have them still waiting for a title to a car that was paid off 4 months ago, without a missed or late payment!!

Just keep having issues with this place. Their system was down yesterday so now my check may not hit till Monday. But seeing as they have my check since yesterday it should have been one of the first entered but clearly not and i cant go get said check and just go elsewhere because I've been stuck at work all day.... Trash service yet again.

BRAD WAS AMAZING!!!!!! I just spent 18 minutes on the phone with this awesome man that took care of an issue that I have been trying to get resolved with MasterCard and other customer service reps for a few months!!! Not only was my issue resolved, he also answered two other questions I had and took his time to make sure I understood. In this time of absolute madness, it sure is nice to still be able to get quality customer serve and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Genfed location!!!

Teller was great it was actually the branch manager that I had a problem with. Not friendly. Brought child to work. Not very professional. Opened account with a lump sum check. A 10 day hold ok but 30 day hold unheard of for me. Why does my check have to be held for 30 days..when I asked she snapped she got nasty and told me to take my check somewhere else after I already signed it ..Cant wait for it to clear so I can go withdraw all of it and close the account...WoW..not my kind of bank she really racial profiled me thou...

Many many cons to banking with gen fed. I have had several situations where a deposit or a transfer was unable to complete. Each time I have been told the computer servers were down, this has happened numerous times. Very few locations, making it inconvenient with travel/emergencies. Online mobile banking app constantly has issues. Only pro is the staff is typically very nice and understanding due to the situations but is out of their control

Been with genfed for the better part of 20 years lately drive-through service has been terrible just waited 10 minutes to get asked to come inside. If I wanted to come inside I would have done it 10 minutes ago

I like Connie, but the fees are outrageous. This is a bank that robs the poor. They penalize you for not having money and charge you for using your own earned income. They delay EVERYTHING! Most banks are on top of it but GenFed is always delayed at posting deposits. Quick to take and slow to give. Its a shame. The president should be ashamed of what he does to the people. Being a trusted with somones hard earned money is a privledge. They act like your a prisoner to their terms. When all of my coworkers got early deposits for holidays, i am always a day later than the rest. Black Friday shopping for example is something i cannot partake in EVER due to their delayed process. It really hinders a lot. Im switching as soon as im able to for sure!
