Came at 3:30 to look at cats for adoption. Lady said they wouldn’t allow us in there because it was going to be closing soon. It closes at 4pm. That’s ridiculous. They should do away with the adoption center if they can’t staff it. This is why we got our last cat at PetSmart, but thought we’d try them again. Mistake.

Our Wadsworth Petco is our go to pet place. We have the rewards program so deals are great! All the staff is so friendly! And we love our groomer Abbi who we have been seeing for 10 plus years!

It’s like when I go in to just look around I always get flagged down by an employee asking if I need help with anything, but when I go in and want to get some fish it’s like playing a game of hide and seek. After about 10 minutes of searching for someone to help me I just put what other items I had down and left. I guess buying online is just the way to go now a days

When coming in I was not greeted, they had no clue who my dogs were for grooming. They have no knowledge of looking at their schedules. They were all very rude and looking down upon me and my dogs. My previous experience was very good with Petco and this was very sad. Normally it takes them almost 2 hours to complete my dogs baths and this time they were done and not even an hour. Which tells me that something was skipped or not done to the full. I picked up my dogs. I paid first. Then I received my dogs. I saw two of them or not blow dried and one dog was completely wet still underneath. This should’ve been something disclose to me prior to on the phone. The excuse from the manager was that he was too heavy to lift on to the table #83 pounds. I wonder how they ever deal with other dogs that are bigger than mine. Being told to pay $20 each more per dog and then for not getting a complete service and for my dogs being wet at the end. What discourages me the most is not one employee was honest with me and spoke to me. I had to ask multiple times what happened and why my dogs are wet. My dogs gained 4 pounds in weight which caused a $20 increase for each dog.
As a vet tech myself, leaving with a wet dog is unsafe and just plain rude. Trying to get away with rushing me out and now telling me is plain rude.
Also would like to add that I told them one of my dogs is dog reactive and to not put him next to other dogs. When I came in they held him right next to another dog on the floor. The fact that nobody cares about the safety of the other dog is ridiculous. I was very clear and in the past they did a great job keeping him from other dogs. They kept him right next to another dog for 5 mins while I was there and I had to tell an employee.

Groomer(Jordan) did a great job with my GSP. I also had great help with a floor staff person also name(Jordan) to help fit Diezel with a new harness. Very helpful and readily available staff. I like that!

Kat was very helpful when I visited the Wadsworth store on 6/4/24.
She answered all my questions I had about dog food. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

To say I was treated with Excellent Customer Service is an understatement. Kat was So Extremely Helpful, Super-Sweet, and really cared about what happened to my pet. Without her help on the phone this morning, I would've had one of the worst days of my pet parent life--way to go Petco for hiring this Superb Individual.

The staff that took care of my girl, I didn’t like so much. Always canceling my appointments and just as she was to receive a free haircut, I was told they were going to refuse her from ever coming to them again and refused to do the free cut I was owed. She had a panic attack that day and wasn’t feeling it. How convenient to refuse her ever again on a day that was to be free. They didn’t lose any $$$ because of it. My girl is a great dog. They just didn’t want to take the time to do her properly so they shaved her bald every four months. It’s all about getting them in and out quickly. Got to make that $$$. I always paid over 100$ each visit plus I gave a tip. Hoping that they would treat her well. Lesson learned. Never again.
