A quaint winery in wakeman, they have a very good variety of sweet and dry wine and let's not forget they have ice wine. Very nice place in door and out door

It's a great place to enjoy a glass or bottle of wine. Bring your own food and enjoy it on beautiful grounds with plenty of seating.

Great afternoon. Quality wines. Various wines to fit all tastes. My only gripe is I wanted 2 buy 6 bottles 2 go... Ohio law allows 10% discount @ 6 + bottles. But this place said NO. Buy 12 bottles or no go. Because I had only tried the Pinot I was wanting a sampling, so no go, no 10% no purchase.

Beautiful vineyard and amazing wines. First time here and there was not one thing I did not like. I am more of a dry red drinker but the sangria here was absolutely delicious. Give it a try!

Cute vineyard with great hospitality! Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and they were moderately busy but still had tables available. Most of their seating is outdoors so something to consider if the weather isn't great. We did the 4 sample tasting for $5 - they offer several dry wines which is nice (especially since Ohio wines tend to be pretty sweet), and their cheese plate! They don't have a ton of food options so I'm don't plan to eat/need a full meal.

Nice cab sauvignon and she liked the peach wine. Really good band on picturesque patio.

I didn't care for the wines I chose on the day we visited, but I'm not a wino, so that's not even the reason for my review.I found them to be kind of snooty and unfriendly, which surprised me based on prior reviews. Husband and I were winery hopping with my In laws, includes my father in law who does not drink wine. He begrudgingly tagged along. We had stopped at a more casual winery earlier that had wine slushees which he liked. When we got to Vermilion Valley, we asked if they served them and the lady was shocked and seemed offended. I wish I could remember what she replied with, but it was very 'Pretty woman boutique sales lady' vibes. I get it- maybe that's like ordering a steak umm at Ruth's Chris, but we didn't know. Her behaviour was off putting. There are so many great wineries in the area, this one is just not for us uncultured folk.

Atmosphere 5/5. Beautiful outside atmosphereWine 3/5.Service 1/5. Unfriendly, unwelcoming service. Group describes service as “snoddy”.We were considering as a possible wedding venue, decided we loved the venue but the attitude from 2 workers behind bar definitely changed our decision. Unfortunately the one made it clear she’d been there a while so we likely won’t be back.

Having a wine tasting on their covered porch overlooking the pond with live music... what could be better for a Friday night?! Highly recommend!

It was not a long stay but it sure was enjoyable. The outside is deceiving, looking like an old weathered wooden structure. The inside was beautiful but not very big, this will be for small crowds. The Ice Wine is the best we have had so far, next time we will stay a little longer to get a better feel of it. Definitely on the return list.
